That was honestly the most depressing loss I’ve ever watched

  2. Optimal-Somewhere-46

Big Daddy Luka clears MVP easily

  3. Acreativeusername69

Even though they lost they didn’t give up which gives us hope they can actually improve during the rest of the season.

  4. VegeterianOsu

Why did they keep trying to score on Chet, they threw the lead

  5. raysbucsmavs

I think it’s fair to say Luka isn’t the problem.

  6. fwaaron93

Jason Kidd is not the guy. This team is going nowhere fast

  7. We_hitt_a_boat

Disgusting. Luka and Lively can stay. Everyone else can be dealt imo.

  8. AdVisual3406

Hell of an effort. Luka was insanely good.

  9. airmigos

Kidd better be feeling the flame on his seat

  10. poorrandy

I’m sad, but I’m gonna remember that 30-0 run for the rest of my life. Electric.

  11. An L is an L. No matter how insane it was. Gut wrenching. Need everyone to get back. West is too stacked to drop games

  12. thelastofus101

I hate that we lost that but watching that comeback was simply amazing how we didn’t just mail it in

  13. Friendly-Ticket2822

Started with that stupid travel call

  14. Cambocant

Life is suffering. Buddha was on to something.

  15. blowhole105

My mental health got a lot better when I quit watching the games and just checked the score every once in a while. That won’t stop until Kidd is fired.

  16. whitefang0824

Lol ugliest last 2 minutes I’ve watched lol. Chucking up stupid shots every damn possession lol.

  17. FatTurts

I personally wouldn’t call any timeouts after forcing the opposition into burning all of theirs, while riding the momentum of a 30-0 run. I’m not an NBA coach tho

  18. Jerry_41

You would think with those numbers from Luka and Lively, the Mavs would win that game. Guess not lol.

  19. byTrebLe

    Tuff
Get Lawson some minutes tho he was great

  20. MFFL12_17

Kyrie would have kept the momentum in the fourth

  21. Reddit-on-Reddit

Hardy is becoming unplayable if he provides no offensive upside. I’m still very high on Lawson and I’m glad he got his time to be a spark at the end there.

  22. monkeyclap8

You know what. We lost missing half of our team but that comeback and the fight that our boys showed tonight made me really excited for this team. People may not think that we are a contender but if we have the mental resilience to come back and go on a 30-0 run then idc what anyone else says. This team can win any game on any night that we have MF Luka Doncic on the court. Let’s fucking go MAVS!

  23. anon641414

They’re going nowhere as long as Cuban and Kidd are heavily involved with this team. Nico pretty much has to draft franchise cornerstones every year just to be the 5/6 seed

  24. raysbucsmavs

That’s a great fucking team. Young as shit and we’re on the back end of a B2B. I couldn’t watch the game and will watch it later tonight. Hearing all of you is making me think I’ll be depressed as fuck. I know half our fucking team was out but a 30-0 run resulting in a loss is tough. Has a 30-0 run even happened before?

  25. QBert999

it is depressing that we lost it in the end, but I still think this was an amazing game, I’m still high off of that 30 point run in the 4th. I think the thing that really impressed me is how they never gave up, most of us had written this game off.

I think that was one of the most special performances I’ve seen from Luka, during that 30 point run he was like a wizard out there. Unbelievable.

  26. Pranker00111

Oh yeah OMAX defense is awesome, please sharpen your offense please

  27. highfalutinman

At least we found out AJ Lawson exists and can contribute

  28. BloodLongjumping5227

Can’t be mad they were barely walking at the end, you cant double team and recover every time whole quarter, Lively was proticting while he could but there was no more energy

  29. Wakandaforever456

Dereck Lively is really Tyson Chandler 2.0
This was a winnable game if Kyrie played imo.

  30. Lively almost had a triple double with blocks, insane…

  31. Difficult-Awareness6

Insane game from Luka and Lively, ruined with Kidd rotations, when we finally play big we had defense.

Line-up of Lively , Luka, DJJ, OMax, and Lawson, later with Seth as only small was great, both ways.

  32. Sorry-Lynx-2084

Lively was a stud tonight. 20 points, 16 boards, 6 blocks.

  33. Dirks_Knee

    Luka…Damn.

    Lively…Damn.

DJJ isn’t getting credit for being the only wing to show up tonight, had a great game.

GWill…sheesh. No idea what’s going on with him. Outside corner 3’s the guys offensive game is total garbage.

Hardy…man, he had some flashes last year but dude hasn’t looked good.

Powell’s got no business being in the NBA.

  34. YoungBuck2010

Two positives outside of Luka tonight:

    1) Lively looking to score after catching the ball at the free throw line instead of kicking it for three. I’ve been wondering why he never even looks at the basket when he could take one dribble and finish over the small guys protecting the rim after a trap.

    2) OMax and Lawson’s defense looks legit. Dallas was killing me with how many uncontested looks they were giving up. Both Lawson and OMax continually made second efforts and got great contests after the ball was swung. The defense looks so awful that I feel like the scheme to give up wide open shots, but when those guys came in, it made me question that take.

  35. Jasonator01

Really tough loss but seeing Luka, DJJ and Lively go on 30-0 run with bench/g league players was so shocking to see. Definitely would’ve been able to win that if we had our main guys healthy

  36. LordClive88

I’m not as disheartened as most. OKC are a serious team and we were missing our second best player and the leading 6MOY candidate. I think the 30-0 run confirms this team is capable of special things. Also great to see that Lawson is up to the level.

With that said, if Kidd hasn’t learned enough about Hardy and Powell after today, I’m not sure what’s to say. Those two single handedly blew this game.
