Curious to see how he looks after a season of tape gets out for defenders. But his pace is so strong, doesnt seem to get ruffled, everything else flows from there. Not excited to see him playing against the C's for the next decade or so.
I'm a Blazers fan and I wanted this kid if the Blazers did trade Lillard there. That being said, I think scouting will eventually slow him down. He's a damn solid player though.
Jaquez has been my favorite rookie to watch this season, even more than Chet and Wemby by a mile. He fits in so seemlessly with the Heat and is the perfect player for a coach like Spo. I love how the Heat put their trust in him to play in late game situations as well. He's easily in my top 5 favorite players in the NBA right now, along with DRose, Jimmy, Jokic, and Caruso.
This guy wasn't on my radar AT ALL, and then I watched him dismantle my Pacers in the 3rd quarter the other night. He played like a superstar for the last half of that game. If he plays like that regularly, he's definitely a contender for RotY.
Looking forward to the game tonight, and the rest of this young man's career.
I fully expect his 3pt% to drop because that's only sustainable for prime Steph Curry or prime Klay Thompson. That being said Jaquez has been better than expected.
There was a prospect top 5 player that fell to like number 19 or 20. When the Heat passed on him to grab a seemingly unmentioned Jaime Jacquez Jr. I KNEW dude had to be special. I love watching his game. He'll become an even better shooter, great foot work. I'm glad he's in Miami system!
The entire next generation of Miami Heat contention is going to be based on this kid's contract. He's giving this production on $3.5 mil. His contract (4y): 3.5m, 3.6m, 3.8m, 5.9m. That leaves a ton of money for Bam's next contract and a free agent. Not only is 30m coming off the books with Lowry this year, but the rising cap opens it up even more.
I love the way Jaquez plays high IQ, winning basketball and fits seamlessly into the Heat's rotation. He's pretty much good at everything and on top of that he has a great, humble, hard-working attitude. Can't wait to see what he becomes down the line.
I listen to LeBatard show so he was on my radar early. Picked him up in fantasy and stayed patient, coming into his own been cool to watch the young guy get comfortable
Heat is just terrible in not identifying bigs. Lack of height down low for rim protection, rebounds is why Heat won't win a championship until they fix that.

Very smooth
He is a complete player. All Star Caliber
Stuff he is picking up now Butler didn’t pick up until he was 27-28. What stuff is that Jimmy? The phreeMasin one eye symbolism?
He reminds of anonymous
It’s unfortunate that wembamyama guy or however you spell his name is going to win ROTY. It’s a popularity contest.
I want to see this five guys play together, herro, triple j, cain, jovic and highsmith❤ hope coach spo will give a time play together😂

I'm glad Miami Heat didn't trade J.J for some big name players.. Let's go Miami Heat
Lol, lol, lol, lol, NBA has no answer for this rookie jaimez. He's so so great, he had pass good to go to great period.
After jimmy, and adebayo, he's the greatest of all period.
He will be the guy that will make teams draft college seniors higher again.
replaces Max Struss 💯

I noticed this guy last week, he was definitely cooking
He does look like he's in his 30s. Maybe faked docs or assumed someone else's identity.
