>Kelly Oubre Jr. on what happened on the night he told police he was a victim hit-and-run while trying to cross a Center City street: “First and foremost before anything, I want to say thank you to my family, my friends, the 76ers organization, especially coach Nurse for the utmost support throughout this whole process. But I’ve spoken to the police about this situation and they have an ongoing investigation. So I’ve spoken to who I need to speak to about it and I’ll keep it with that the way that is. I won’t be speaking on any details about that because they are looking into.”

>Sixers forward Kelly Oubre Jr. on how badly he wants the driver who hit him caught:
“Like I said, I’m all for love and peace. But at the end of the day, this is a serious situation. I’m going to let the situation handle itself from there. I don’t hate anybody. I don’t wish any mal intent on anybody.”

>Kelly Oubre Jr, on people questioning his account of the accident: “This was, and is, a very traumatic situation for me and my family. I just wish my life wasn’t like The Truman Show, where everybody could kind of watch it and have their own opinion about my life.”
Thank goodness Keith Pompey chose Philly over Boston so he could bring us this news.
Blud is literally waffling
Got caught tryin to go on the downlow with the wrong dude and caught roughed up for it.
As long as he’s healthy and mentally ready to go.
**Translation:** “Yeah I was totally riding my bike.”
Look, I’ll be happy if I’m wrong and people can bust my balls with the receipts afterward.
But I don’t think I’m wrong.
I got hit while riding my bike once, the adrenaline makes you feel like you’re invincible and have nothing wrong for about 12 hours. Then you wake up the next day with the adrenaline gone and it hurts to move anything. I assume that any weird behavior from Oubre is due at least in part to that adrenaline spike/crash, hopefully he makes a full recovery.
This fanbase really doesn’t want this dude to re-sign here do they? Show this man some respect!
Yeah smells funky but as long as it’s behind us
Who knows what happened, whatever it is I don’t think he’s Jussie Oubre or anything. Most of all glad he’s able to get healthy and get back to business.
