Yeah during the game you could see Brooks trying to block LeBron’s path, but he then walked the long way around to Udoka.
Honestly I felt the only mistake the refs made was T’ing up LeBron. The audio shows he wasn’t saying anything remotely disrespectful and was respectfully asking Ime to calm down.
That’s beyond silly. The refs can’t stop grown men from talking shit to each other. Nor is it their jobs to. Their jobs are to punish when they get out of line, which is what they did.
The hivemind here likes to parrot that Udoka was out of line, but it just came off as shit talking to me. The two actually played together in their careers, and Udoka hasn’t gotten over that shit talking. He knows anyone saying “bitch” is a huge trigger to lebron, so he used it. Lebron knew Udoka already had a tech, so he used that as an Uno Reverseo.
Gamesmanship all around. Move on.
