[Dane Moore] As for Anthony Edwards and Jaden McDaniels injury status, sounds like Edwards is close — he practiced today and Finch said he is “day to day”. McDaniels will be out this week, and Finch says they’re hopeful he can start practicing with the group next week.

[Dane Moore] Chris Finch said Jordan McLaughlin participated in practice for the first time since his knee injury. Wasn’t a full-contact participant, but Finch said McLaughlin’s return is nearing.
Getting healthy at the right time.
I know the Spurs are on a 13 game losing streak but that team still scares me with Wemby lol definitely would prefer Ant to be back for that game if he’s ready to go.
As for Jaden, it’s a bit of a surprise he’s still out this long… it was a Grade 1 sprain, not a high-ankle. And sounding like by the time he’s back it will be at the very least 3 weeks.
I mean I trust that he’s going to play when he’s ready but with the way he was able to walk off after it happened, I didn’t think it would take this long to heal
The In Season tourney really helped us out here. Not to underestimate the Grizzlies or Spurs, but I have confidence in the rest of the squad to handle business, so, no rush to get the guys back this week. Jaden and Ant can basically take another full 7 days before we play the Pelicans.
Even then, they have until next Thursday before we play the Mavericks, which ideally is when we get Jaden back. Best case scenario is that Ant comes back to shake off the rust by Monday’s game against the Pelicans, and then Jaden by the following Thursday.
I think McDaniels gets back right around Christmas. Hopefully, Laker game, get some revenge.
We don’t play for another 2 days so I could see Ant coming back against the spurs for limited minutes, depending on the pain. Mcdaniels has been getting injured a lot lately, hope he’s doing better.
Give them some extra time.
