Mavs cant be contending not until they trade 2 or 3 players out from Hardy, Green, THJ, Holmes, Powell, Omax, Kleber
I'm not so down on Green as Nick and some other people are. Sure, he hasn't been able to make the jump people expected, but he has a role in this team, he helps with the lack of a true ball handler besides Luka and Kyrie, he has been doing a decent job and he was playing better lately. Nick talked about DJJ but the other guy who helped the Mavs close the last W was Josh Green, he was part of the closing unit and I think that starting him had a positive impact as far as having more clarity with his role.
I think Nick needs to start using more advanced stats for lineups so we can know better which player is playing more or better with Luka, who is playing more with Kyrie, how that is affecting their game, etc.

THJ – Mixed – Which version will we get each night?
Powell – Bad – Negative impact most games
Exum – Good – great minutes and positive impact, steal signing
Holmes – Mixed – clear strengths and weaknesses.
Omax – Mixed – good effort but raw
AJ – Good – coming off a high, keep rolling and see
Seth – Good – known factor, reliable not perfect
Maxi – Bad – what is his fit once healthy?
Morris – Bad – better vets to have in the locker room
If any of these can impact defence then adding to the positive vibes…

Definitely some new kind of emotions this season despite the losses. Even on a bad night I can always count our Bally crew to not feel completely down. Speaking of.. what's gonna happen with Followill and Friends next season if the games aren't on Bally?!
