Jrue has really been struggling offensively. He shot 40% from 3 last year. There’s no way he’s at 40% right now or even close. Has he maybe lost a step? Did we get him to late?
When KP gets back we'll see JB make assists. He has no hesitation to pass to KP because he knows KP can finish. But yeah, zero assists in that Pacers game 😳
Free throws have also been rough
Tatum has to improve. In late game situations he tends to hold the ball and go iso instead of playing team ball. Not to mention Tatum still has an unreliable broken jumpshot.
I don't know, but when Tom Westerholm like gives his like analysis, like you know like he uses like, um you know like this like one word excessively. Like what's that like you know like that one word Tom likes to use. Like he really, really, like likes to use…help me out guys 😅

Porzigis is just a shot maker and does it consistently, Brown had about 8 to 10 great passes to open guys in the Pacers game, but they all missed their shots, so whose fault is it if everyone is missing open shots. Celtics are just a very streaky team, but a lot of teams are like that…

I'm gonna say this. They should have not forced Tatum to play POWERFORWARD…. If he will be the PF then don't make him shoot that much threes and focus on the defense……
That was The Cs bread and butter. Defensive stop, forced turnovers, and they should have focused on improving their perimeter defense
The reason why they really have bad 3rd quarters is because Mazzulla plays the bench a lot in that quarter. Having Brown, White and Pritchard, Banton and Kornet on the floor is a recipe for failure, especially because White and Pritchard are looking for their own shot as soon as Tatum is out and do not run the offense through Brown. Also with that group on the floor, the defense takes a major step back….Pritchard is just to small and White too is small so the other team attacks him a lot….
JT has devolved into hero/iso ball in the clutch. he has become like JB in that regard. cant have both of them like that. need to get both back to team ball. hopefully KPs return restores that balance.
JT is missing alot of FT this season. is it a product of him playing the 4 alot this season, more physical wear and tear? imo we should consider returning back to double big and play the Js in their natural positions: 2 and 3. Jrue and al should play off the bench. then hopefully we can get a rotation level big that can guard in space so we can afford to play al off the bench. if not a big, at least a swing who can guard strength matchups like jrue but is tall enough to play the 4 so JT can play the 3. A saddiq bey or obi toppin type for example.
we basically need a cheaper, slightly less skilled version of porzingis. someone to set picks, defend in space, rebound, roll and can catch the oop or pop and shoot the 3.
imo the celtics "respect" their opponents too much. thus they lack the killer instinct. if they played every game like they played the bulls game, we've have less concerns.
