If anyone was curious how the 905 season is going so far, this tweet is pretty emblematic of the situation. Only 4 of the players on their official roster are healthy, not including Dick. Nowell, Freeman-Liberty, Harper, Gueye, Maker, Winslow, Morris, Morsell, and Moore are all recovering from various injuries. This will likely prolong Gradey Dick’s stint as the team needs as many bodies as it can get.
The 905 have a record of 1-9 following their loss this morning.
Honestly Gradey is looking really comfortable on the 905, so spending more time there just working on his game can only ever be good for him.
Gotta imagine averaging 20+ points a night and having the green light to just yeet as many 3s as he wants without consequences is pretty good for his confidence
Starting to look like the Dick 905 assignment was more of a “we can’t assign Jalen McDaniels to the G League when we have a rookie” move to get them another body on the floor
Good lord this year’s G League season has been plagued with injuries
