  1. Why are their voices always deeper on YouTube? The podcast versions always sound normal and good.

  2. The Haliburton-Sabonis trade really worked out for both teams and players – Kings already have a point guard they trust and Haliburton growth is going to be stunted, and get a key Big to form a duo with Fox. Pacers, well, they got Haliburton.

  3. LmAo. Once again, the media trick yall calling Boston the best team in the league the last 8 years as if they are the 2015 Warriors.

  4. Celtics will never win bc Tatum just isn't good enough. His decision making is terrible and at this point he may be the most overrated player we've seen for the last 25 years. Boston needs to do what OKC did when they had Russ and PG, trade Brown and Tatum for picks, hope you can trade for or draft someone who turns into a star, and just rebuild, because they'll never be good enough right now and its entirely on those two.

  5. I see Zach Lowe, still talking about everyone but the Lakers! Couldn’t expect anything less from a closeted Celtics fan boy like yourself!

  6. Ty was also trying to overcome an upper respiratory infection (that prevented him from playing against the Heat on Saturday), so it wasn't just Boston's choices and Ty wanting to get his teammates involved that slowed him down in the first half – he used an inhaler at halftime to help him breathe better. He still wasn't 100% in the second half, but being able to breathe better definitely helped him play closer to his normal self in the second half. That factor and missing Jalen Smith (backup center) diminishes that "caveat" a little…the Pacers weren't at full strength either. Their defense started to pick up when they won against Jimmy Butler/Kyle Lowry and the Heat on Saturday (without Ty and Jalen). Toppin was pretty solid against Butler in that game too. The team's biggest emphasis has been defense this season, and the Pacers are making progress in that area as seen in the Heat game and this Celtics game. Having played in the NBA, JJ is able to recognize outstanding talent and greatness from an inside perspective. Any player that truly understands and loves the game the way JJ does would see what Ty contributes if they're paying attention. MUCH respect to you for that, JJ! Ty has been making NBA history this season, people should start knowing who he is if they don't already. The comparison between Jokic and Ty is spot on for several reasons. They're both unselfish, make everyone around them better (team first), have ridiculously incredible court sight/passing skills, have very positive attitudes and high energy, all while bringing sheer joy to their teammates. These qualities make them unique and rare in the NBA, and is also why they make fantastic leaders to their respective teams. Ty fits in perfectly with Pacers culture (they look for players with good character as well as high talent level), and Ty is just as great a person off the court as he is on it. If you want a small glimpse of his sense of humor/personality, watch the postgame interview with Myles Turner from this IST game…when he mentions anything to do with defense. Btw JJ, Ty has already missed 2 games this season (injury and illness). I think Nesmith and Ty were out in the first game against Boston (blowout game).

  7. Sometimes you get so old that your employer says to you 'We're going to tailor our product so that it has the broadest possible reach because our bottom line depends on it, which is exactly what we've done for your entire career," and you say "What is the world coming to?"

  8. JJ low-key hijacked this pod. Imma give you a pass…this time, JJ. But you better show more reverence next time on the g-bball-pod-oat LOWE POST!!!

  9. Changing of the guard in the Western Conference. Out with the old, literary, and in with the new. The Warriors and Clippers aren't impressing, while the Wolves, Thunder and Pelicans are playing the part. The Timberwolves are looking like Denver in Minnesota, at least in size for sure minus Mike Conley.

  10. You all (fans) are deservedly giving Tatum his due for Celtic failures, but Jalen Brown reliably turning the ball over has done his part too. The Celtics needed Jrue Holiday for his leadership and toughness. Come playoff time, between Holiday and White, opposing guards are going to struggle.

  11. Al Horford isn't drawing fouls, but he's managed to be available in the playoffs. Everyone thought he was done when he was exiled to OKC how many years ago? CP3 was probably gone the year before. Imagine Paul screaming at Horford to roll to the basket.

  12. Problem for Boston is j.brown is "second best player" and it's laughable to me πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  13. Tatum best player? Maybe but that team isn't best in NBA sorry πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  14. The logistics of the in season tournament seem really intense. Here's an idea. How about we have one regular season to determine seeding of a tournament at the end of the year to determine which NBA team was best that year. It would be seamless transition from the regular season to the postseason tournament. Thoughts???

  15. Himi-burton. Dude is playing like a top 3 All-Time PG Legend. πŸ™Œ We're young, but we play hard and we try to fix our flaws. We are only going to keep improving our D and chemistry. Just wait until this Draft and FA folks. Next year we will be a legitimate problem. Love this Podcast collaboration!!!! LowePost Pod and The Old Man and the 3 need to do this much more often. I love the way you guy's communicate off of eachother. Sounds like great basketball conversation from two of my best buddies. Thank you so much for recognizing my Pacers ya'll. JJ Reddick is phenomenal and should have been a coach on my Pacers. He and TJ McConnell would be great on the staff. Haha. Love JJ's I.Q

  16. If what you are saying about Boston is true, that they love disrupting other teams offense by how they run their offense, maybe they should just worry about what they are doing. They haven't won a ring and they are not that dominant to be dicking around tbh. Also, you cant teach grit and toughness. They don't have that and they are going to have to won despite that…that is going to be tough when other teams are going to get it from the mud so to speak.

  17. Kings need to go ahead and trade 5 first round picks for a DPOY type player like the wolves did. Draymond is washed. Miami is winning too much to shop Bam. Doubt JJJ or Mitch is available. Maybe Dominayton lol? He’s actually good defensively but good luck with that. They might be outta luck till the summer honestly.

Toronto might have some guys for sale. OG, Siakam, or Poetl could be helpful.

  18. I don’t know if they could do it on a consistent basis, but the Pacers did prove they can beat a good team without Hali when they beat the Heat in the 2nd game of a double header before the Celtics game.

Do agree the defense needs to improve though. It’s dumb stuff like Turner being lazy and letting Al Horford blow by him on a close out for a easy bucket late.

  19. The slow/pitch drop vocal encoder is awful. Please fix that so Zach and guests aren’t talking like Bane the whole show

  20. The 2001 Lakers were and offensive powerhouse but were like 21st in defense. As long as the Pacers can slide those defensive ratings down a few ranks into the teens or break even at twenty there is a very good chance they win a championship or at least make a run in the finals possibly this season.

  21. JJ the worst guest that's been on in awhile. Arrested development at immature entitled frat boy lacking self-awareness. Interrupts and counters, enamored with his own takes like college girls still laughing at everything he says b/c he's JJ Redick.
