I said it before the season and I will say it again… Exum will be our version of 2022 Peyton on the Warriors. Yes he isnt Curry if it comes to 3 point shooting. But he can be decent. He just needs a little more time to adjust back to the NBA 3 point line. He played on FIBA courts for 2 years. It needs a bit of time to change your shot just a bit to ad the additional inches. I bet he will shoot like 37% in March/April.

It's funny, this obsession with who is starting… it's the NBA 'manhood' thing? In Europe we start players, that can execute the coaches plan the best. And if coach estimates, that starting specific players to achieve his goal is the thing, then it's that. No ego 'I' m better, I should… '. I know classic patterns of NBA first team, then garbage stay in the game second quarter etc… but if coach decides differently, it's his call.

Let's give Exum a chance to continue his strong play. Give him minutes over Josh, Grant, and Hardy. Same with Seth; he should get more minutes than Hardy who keeps making bad decisions with the ball. DJJ should play just as aggressive as tonight.
Incidentally, KP was recently on the JJ podcast and was asked about his Mav's run. Kudos for him for owning it up to maturity and not throwing Luka and Carlisle under the bus.
I still don't understand the center rotation. Why did Powell come in before Holmes? Hope that it's because we are playing a bad team today. Powell is still useless against those good teams. Another thing is Hardy needs to de traded. He is not efficient even in the garbage time now and his defense is still getting blowed by so easily. Trade him for a big wing please.
The new owner's son owns a basketball team in israel. He might be a basketball fanatic and get way more involved than we imagine.

Let's remind ourselves to be happy and humble and not take this time with Luka in a mavs jersey for granted
because Luka has the potential to become the best player of all time by the end of his career and his time with us may just be the beginning of that journey. If we are lucky and things work maybe he will be with us all the way, but if that doesn't happen, us mavs-fans can at least say that we have followed every game of his early development and that is something truly great to have experienced. Seeing how much he argued with the refs being reduced, seeing his defense improve, its small things that in the end will add up to making him the best eventually.
I know it's too early to make Goat predictions for Luka, but seriously, I don't know what his skill ceiling is. His numbers in the game against the knicks last year I had never seen before in a basketball game and he did that when he was 23 years old!!! Most athletes don't peak until around 30+ years old nowadays. He maybe racking up 80 points in a game in a few years.
Just wanted to have this said, because its easy to get used to seeing Luka's magic.
