  1. Why does Brian Wright continue to get a pass? I might even say that he has a contribution to Detroit's 18 game skid. I mean i'm sure he made some of the decisions that affected the teams future even past his tenure there. What has Brian contriburted to the Spurs franchise?? He is single handedly destroying the franchise, and tarnishing Pop and RC's legacy. He turned Ferrari into a Fiat in a matter of five season and I don't know how people don't see it. When will, his accountability be addressed??

  2. Jimenez is right — we can't expect to rely on Wemby's love for the Spurs franchise to keep him here longterm. Or for him to be as loyal as Tim Duncan or David Robinson, guys from another generation (Manu & Tony included). LMA asked for a trade TWICE, and then, at the end, asked for a buyout where the FO couldn't recoup anything because they held on to him too long. Kawhi forced his way out. DeMar left supposedly on good terms, then went on pods saying he was "stifled". These are different times. The FO and the coaching staff has badly miscalculated here and have gone a long way towards destroying all the goodwill that was built up in the city by his arrival. Even if they just had, say Chicago's W-L record the tenor of the fanbase would be much better. But this? You have to believe they miscalculated here. Why is the SA media not writing/reporting scathing critiques of the FO? It's not like this FO cozies up to them anyway — we have to literally learn about all their moves/rumors from Nat media members anyway. Wemby has already said multiple times he's "impatient", so you gotta take him at his word here.

  3. Also, Vincent Collier, Wemby's national team coach, really had some choice things to say recently about Wemby and how the coaching staff is using him. He's not just some fan, he's going to be coaching Wemby this summer at the Olympics and coached him on the Mets. You better believe he's not just some fan commenting on the sidelines. Something for Jeff to dig into.

  4. From the beginning of our season it was extremely evident that we have no true point and playmakers, not even going to talk about our shooting from the perimeter. I have never been a big fan of Jones at the point, and he is having a horrible season in terms of shooting and playmaking and I don't even see him as an answer for a backup point, he can't hit open shots, floaters or make plays for others consistently. We need a point ASAP! Will have to wait for the draft probably, but we will probably draft another 6'4" SG/SF that can't shoot!

  5. I think that the Spurs front office has to know that there is no realistic way for the team to use all of the draft picks. They must know that, at some point, it will be time to consolidate some of the draft picks (and maybe a young player or two) in an effort to go trade for an allstar caliber player (a point guard),

  6. Great points Michael, rebuild should have been day one, no urgency, this is bull, we have a draft picks, players, start doing something.
