Now he needs to translate that into winning something.

The closer Embiid gets to being a HoFer, the less I care about his regular season accomplishments.

I mean nice but probably last thing you want to do is bring comparisons to Shaq and jokic. Both Shaq and jokic were mvps and won titles because they dominated their opponents in post season

I feel like segmenting Shaq’s career at 2000 feels super arbitrary lol. He was drafted in 1992. This would be like if we took at look at Joel’s career from next year until retirement.

Yeah but who fell down more? Shaq or embiid?

It’s not always about points Jokic and Shaq both dominated in the post season and became Finals MVPs because of the other things they brought besides scoring.

I’m dreading when this sub becomes nothing but posts about who’s better in the MVP race.

shaq has 49 40+ point games if you count his whole career, seems stupid to only start counting from the year 2000

Gonna be real, I don’t care about the regular season accolades anymore.

Let’s get something done in the postseason now.

Wilt had 271 40 point games. More than Kareem, McAdoo, Shaq, Embiid and Hakeem combined.

Talent wise, Embiid is good enough so that he could be a top10 all time player. Just needs to win trophies. Man is cursed in the playoffs but this team has failed him so much, It took until he is almost 30 years old to get a decent coach
