It's nice to see the Wolves beating up on these bad teams and giving themselves a bit of a cushion. I was extremely critical of Tim Connelly and to a lesser degree Gobert last season but it appears Connelly knows what he's doing (surprise!) and Gobert is IMO the Wolves MVP. With the way the Wolves are playing, I think only a few things can stop them this season; injuries and/or an opponent getting ridiculously hot from outside over the course of a playoff series.
We need to stop pedaling this nonsense. A team full of rudy goberts would lose every game bc he is a terrible defender. He is a good rim protector. The team is full of stellar defenders. If u take rudy off this team they are the same team. Bam is gonna get robbed yet again when this guy cant do anything defensively outside of the paint. And most times hes too slow to do anything in the paint too. If i would 7'2 id block wayyyy more then 3 shots a game lol
Not a Wolves fan; but hot damn is Rudy killing it this season. Watching the game live it's very easy to miss his impact; which is why I love these breakdowns. They show very clearly the huge impact he's having on other team's offenses… it's just straight up unfair. 😂
