  1. Honestly gives me a lot of hope. It’s somewhat kool aid yeah, but idgaf. This was a great read and gives insight to what imo has been the FO focus since taking over. If anyone was around during the Garpax era there were reports that our player development lagged far begind the rest of the league. We didn’t utilize analytics and our player development team was one guy.

    Tldr of the article is that the player development side has been continually expanding to the point that it’s an entire team and we’re finally utilizing advanced tools like computer shot tracking/analysis. Patton was brought in due to his background as a shooting coach and has been working hard to improve the team’s shooting overall.

    Making system like this takes time and results aren’t going to be instant. It is encouraging though that Ayo and Coby have gotten better every year. ME has even come out and said Coby is their prime example for what they’re trying to achieve developmentally.
