Scottie isn't ready to run a team
Poetl and Shroeder out and bring in 2 shooters to spread the floor for our main 3 guys.
Malachy is out of the rotation. Trent has to be one of the guys, the other it doesn't matter. I like Pensare idea of Boucher as he plays off the ball, block and shoot 3s.
If Darko moves Dennis to the bench I'll make him some breakfast for dinner, nice juicy steak and eggs with a side of hash. #DinnerForDarko

Boucher should be a starter but he needs to add 20 pounds and increase his cardio. He is the only bench guy who performs. Malachi is not a great passer we don't need him out there with Poetl who needs a passer on the floor
Poeltl needs to come out of the starting lineup. Put SB at center and bring in GTJ. Jontay Porter is looking like a player the Raps need at center- one that can make threes and stretch the defense for SB, OG & PS to operate. Fun Fact: Both Masai Ujiri and Jontay Porter played basketball at the same high school- Nathan hale HS in Seattle.
Honestly I'd rather have Malachy Flynn in the starting lineup … He's been getting more confident and running the team well when he's on the floor with the starters, doesn't look for his shot as much as shroder.
He said nothing's off the table, and that he's open to it. But if you listen to the quote it's very reluctant. It's a far cry from him actively looking at changing things. More like… Hey if we keep losing I may have no choice. He also immediately walked it back by saying there's other areas of the rotation he wants to fix first.
Love the idea of Dennis as 6th man and having Flynn run the offense. He could be a lite version of Chris Paul out there. Also glad for the 905 to be healthy and dominating. We should think about calling up Porter. He looks older than the coach. But shooting well he looks promising.

At this point, I wouldn't mind if Malachi starts over Schroder, After all, Schroder had his most efficient season when he came off the bench during his time with the Thunder in 2019-20.

2 path forward that are worth a try.
1 trade PS, GTJ, CB, Thad before deadline for all the future assets and short contracts that fit team. A SG to help SB and OG would be great!
2 All in but Ownership has to agree to pay Luxury Tax one year to see if this would work so now until end of year 2025. Trade all GTJ, CB, Thad, Otto, Jalen M at Dec15 + 1 first and 2 seconds max for Zach L + Alex C.
This give bulls flexibility now and future and money coming off books they can likely flip Gary and maybe others for a little more draft assets.
Raps could play small ball first 4 mins and last 5 mins of games. DS, Zach, OG, PS, SB start. Both Zach and Alex help shooting and depth. I get Zach is not a number 1 or good at def but we have other good defenders we need shooting and scoring. Q4 should be hot hand with SB, ZL, PS, OG taking all the shots. DS less shooting more drive and pass. Sign OG and PS and if it does not “work “ into 2025 you can trade them for more value than a fire sale now. It is risky but the only path I see if OKC does not help with all their draft assets.

I'd like to see Jontay Porter brought up, try him in Centre and send Poeltl to the bench. Sure we lose a few inches at C but in his 2 games with the 905 Jontay averaging 20 points a game, 60% FG, 78% from 3, 100% FT, 9 Reb, 3.5 Blks. Yes, it's only been 2 games, and yes it's G-league stats, but having a C that can shoot from 3 and hit his free throws would be a tremendous help spacing the floor and unclogging the paint for Pascal and Scottie to attack the rim. The biggest issue with this team is having 3 starting players that get the majority of their points from in and around the paint. I also like the idea of trying Scottie at point and bring GTJ back to the starting lineup. Put Schroeder and Jakub in the bench unit and we start actually having a decent looking bench. Nothing saying it will work out, but it can't get much worse than how things are now.
Kmt Darko sounds like a scratch lp record that keeps on skipping repeating the same crap talking about "to figure it out" they haven't figured it out yet he can't see that maybe if Stevie Wonder was the Raptors coach he would and made a lineup change

I like when Scottie was playing the 5 both last year and this year. Jakob should be a situational player until the raptors start getting into the habit of winning. Id rather play with space and pacing to get this team into a rhythm. Poeltl unfortunately minimizes all of that. Even before Masai traded him away he was part of one the best bench mobs.
This season is waiting for Freeman-Liberty to get healthy and come off the bench in a flame throwing role with the big squad. And for Dick to gain his confidence. That will change the team.
Who would be cut to make room for Justice Winslow. After the deadline, Thad or Temple for sure, if they're not used in a trade. But can we wait that long?
Adding a coach with no experience to a roster with sub-par talent gets you a losing record. Who couldn't see that coming? oh ya Masai, time to move on before we lose more assets for nothing.
