Spurs get cap relief for 2024 plus a first round pick in Dick in exchange for Johnson (17.2 ppg, 6.4 reb, 4.2 ast, 47% fg, 37% 3fg, 77% ft) who has reportedly fallen out of favor in SA. Johnson would help strengthen the Raptors bench and has a descending contract that is at 20 million this season and goes down over the next 3 seasons.
Warriors are desperate right now, thompson & wiggins has declined, and draymond Green would be better off as a WWE superstar. The question is 1) would you take any of thosd 3 players contracts or CP3 and 2) if any of the young assets like kuminga, moody or podziemski would intrigue raptors to trade OG. Personally i am not a big fan of any of those young assets for OG (i do like podziemski personally, but he is not worth it for OG atm).

I wish we could keep the good parts of this team together and add more elite talent, not one or the other. The Warriors payroll is like more than double ours. Kinda sucky to feel like one of the have-nots in this league

If we were to trade OG, I would hope to get at least a couple good young players that will fit around Scottie, and at least one first round draft pick. I wouldn't mind getting that pick from GS (since they might not have many good seasons left), but I think a 3rd team would need to be involved to give us the types of players we would need in return. With that said, unless we're getting a kings ransom in return or we believe that OG is likely to walk this offseason, I think we are better off to keep him and resign him.

Maybe og or pascal for dejounte Murray so we have a starting point guard and can have Schroeder with the bench group. Then move peortl and whoever for a stretch 5 who can shoot and space the floor. Then start Murray, Trent, Barnes, Pascal/or og and the new stretch 5. With Schroeder coming in to run the second group. Problem solved with team construction and some shooting/half court offense. Now I would like Masai's salary for the past 3 years for a better constructed team that I came up with in minutes. Your welcome.
