People have to remember that Doc Rivers lost out on the Tim Duncan Sweepstakes when he was in Orlando, so he was going to do everything within his power to get Kawhi Leonard. 🤷🏻♂️
Doc alo blew getting Tim Duncan in Orlando.
Its incredible that Shai fell out of the top ten in the draft behind the likes of Kevin Knox and then was traded. I thought he'd be an all-star but he's a tier above that. He's a perennial All-NBA guy already.
As a thunder fan living in OKC, I was excited to get Shai in the trade and I figured he’d be a 22ppg scorer at his peak, serviceable franchise PG. never thought this
let me guess, Doc also saw star potential in his son and therefore wanted him on all his teams…
Glad he didn't come to the Lakers, he is washed and brittle
Why does it matter what he thinks he wasn’t even the GM at that point? He had little say and thankfully got fired shortly after.
De'Aaron Fox is better than both
Doc is such a snake.
😂 Doc regretting a bad move. Shocker
Haliburton is great but what? Shai’s defensive impact is HUGE and should not be overlooked. Not to mention his scoring gap over Hali.
Is the full video version of these pods available anywhere?
Been watching these clips and listening on spot forever but never bothered to ask this question haha
Listened for Doc… got a smidge of Tom Brady “i love you” from Bill.
Criminal that the hornets traded SGA on draft night
They completely forgot about Fox.
Shai is a better defender he’s got a case to be all defense first team, and a better scorer haliburton is only the better passer.
I doubt Shai would have become Shai without leaving the clippers. Sometimes that's what it takes for potential stars to breakout. They need room and an opportunity at the helm. Look at Shai and Hali now.
Why is Hali over Shai even a thing Shai is clearly better in almost every aspect besides passing and 3pt shooting
Sam Presti with the biggest fleece move in NBA history 😂
It’s 20 games into the season and Bill has locked Halliburton in on first team 😂. Also he’s locked curry in although the warriors suck. If you ain’t white you just gotta be light for bill to like you
Is interesting how much shit Bill talked about Doc and now they are doing podcasts ? Like damn…talk about that shit for a moment lol
I clicked on this video because I love okc, but I was kinda shocked, in a good way, to see Doc. Good video, SGA for MVP
Hey Bill, do you believe in… Magic? The team that has your precious Celtics by the little leprechauns for the last two seasons? How big is LeBron's brain when he got stomped by my Magic? Also, Derrick White would suck in any other system. You hack.
This dude didn’t play maxey and reed at first when they were needed the most. Doc stinks.
Holy shit Doc talking to BS?!?!
Haliburton passing Brunson is hilarious. Brunson did it in the playoffs TWICE
Uhh, no shit
It's time to give kawhi his regular season MVP
He was already robbed 3 times in 2016,2017 and 2021
There’s gonna be a case study about how doc coached Embiid, Harden, Paul, Griffin, Kawhi, and George and ended up with only one title, which none of them were a part of at all.
can we give them someone else? lmao
Simmons and Doc getting along?
As opposed to not regretting the trade? I think that’s implied at this point, eh?
No way Kawhi was going to pass up Lakers and Toronto to go to Clippers to play with Shai. The trade was a necessary evil. The Clippers would have been more interesting if Kawhi never came.
Sounds like Kawhi is the complete opposite of Durant. Kawhi is too competitive and wants to beat the best, Durant wants to join the best and ride coat tails.
The most overrated coach of all time, but he´s black.
As an OKC fan, it was a good trade wink wink 😉.
The worst trade ever.
PG just sitting there like 🥺
Glen rivers whole career as a coach is a regret wtf lol
I thought Kawhi wanted Paul George
They wanted freaking Way-off P 😂
