Joe just needs to call a timeout. Warriors are better playing defense on the fritz.

  2. GrandJudgment

Bro always does a 10s dribble iso into one of the most contested step backs to end games…

  3. Tatum has been concerning for the past 10 games

  4. bradyisking

I’d like to apologize to Smart, I really thought the choking started and ended with him. We don’t get a ring until Tatum figures it out, he’s the one who keeps coming up small in these moments

  5. Bouldershoulders12

Bruh I was screaming for him to drive in and at least get a easier shot it’s so frustrating

  6. jjjuuubbbsss

And to people who’ll say we’re turning on JT. Nah. He just won’t turn away from some of his bad habits and lost us a game.

  7. northeasternlurker

I love Tatum, but man he’s a moron

  8. AcrobaticFeedback

Its almost better he keeps missing those so in the future hopefully he will learn to do something different

  9. When are we gonna let jb get to the midrange for a game winner? Every time we have an opportunity to win it at the buzzer it’s the same exact thing

Also how did we let Steph play damn near the entire 2nd half + OT with 5 fouls and not draw a single foul on him?

  11. monstamayo

I’m not even mad… just disappointed. He clearly hasn’t learned

  12. Manic-Finch781

How many points did JT score in the 4th Qtr and OT, I wonder?

  13. This team needs to talk to him about his shot selection, his 9 3s a game on 30% shooting not doing it

  14. Magnaleo

I’ll never understand why our final shot is always an iso three. The purpose of a three-pointer is that you get more points on a lower percentage, so when all you need is a single point to win the game, you shouldn’t be taking a three unless it’s wide open.

  15. Manic-Finch781

How many of those shots am I going to see JT miss in his career?

  16. fuck it, i am now in favor of removing the three point line. you need *one* (1) point to *win the game* and you choose a shot that realistically only has a 33% chance of going in. the 3 > 2 math has gone too far and circled right back around to being stupid.

Joe has won me over recently but I don’t think I’ll ever be on the side of not calling a timeout in that situation. This team has proven time and time again that they aren’t going to generate a quality look in that situation. Set something up!

  18. It’s like Groundhog Day every close game with this dude.

I get down voted every time I bring this up in this sub but the Warriors are clearly in Tatum’s head and he always plays way worse against them. And it’s not just poor shooting – its poor shot-selection and decision-making. He turns into a different player when he plays this team.

In his last 9 games against the Warriors Tatum is shooting 34% from the field and a true shooting percentage of 47%. Of those 9 games, 0 have a FG% over 50% and only 2 have a FG% over 40%.

My biggest criticism of Tatum has always been that he has some kinda mental issue that crops up too regularly. Don’t know how to explain it – if it’s mental toughness, BBIQ, or what. But every time he plays the Warriors it’s as if he’s trying to prove to the world he can make all the tough crazy deep shots the Warriors have made over the years. He definitely does not play his best version of basketball.

  20. Tatum gotta be about 3-100 on game winners. I am never confident with the ball in his hands in clutch time

  21. Ill_Bid_1711

He should be on the bench at end of the games at this point. Does anyone on this forum actually trust JT? I miss the days of MVP chants that, even though he is nowhere close to an MVP, at least signaled that he was still a competitor.

  22. iamagainstit

Ah yeah, the Ime special. Feels like tatum has mostly gotten away from those, but they sure are frustrating

  23. Paulie_garlic

Fr bruh, just give the ball to brown or d white they got the hot hand

  24. PepeSylvia11

Fuck. I couldn’t watch the end. *That* shit happened again? Glad I fucking missed that shit. Appalling.

  25. juzzbert

    What is this clip from?

Also, you’re totally right, tatum’s clutch decision making can be so questionable. But honestly this is on coaching. I don’t know how many times at the end of games I just think there’s something off about the Celtics execution…

Situations like these make you value KP more. His signing is literally a game changer that with his absence the team reverts back to its old problems. KP is the X-factor.
