The referees gave every call to Ja. Basically kept Zion out. That offensice challenge should have been a basket and 1 for ZION=game changer
I’m not sure you comprehend what happened out there in the clutch. The grizzlies actually did the OPPOSITE of what you said. They blitzed BI on the screens and said anybody but BI can shoot lol. That’s why CJ was wide open. So no they did not say “we will let BI carry them because he can’t carry them all the way”. They doubled BI to get the ball out of his hands(which is what we should have done with Ja).

The fact we’ve blown 7+ 20 points leads is enough to call for willie gone imo, it shows how bad Willies adjustments and counter adjustments/stubbornness really are
Whats the point of starting herb if hes gonna give up 30+ everytime we play an allstar nor does he score!? We need a PG with spirit (couldve wore down ja and keep Z in dunkers spot)! Coaching smh

Rebounding was a problem last year. Should've been fixed for this year. That statement is dumb.
The league is mad at Zion and he is not going to get calls. They wanted him to be the face and he has disappointed them. Zion does not have the it factor. He just want just play and Zion do not want to be a superstar!
Why was we running Ja off the three, when he was not shooting good from the jump-shot. They should have played off him and allow him to shoot jumpers.
Embarrassing. That is twice in a month the Pels just went to sleep on defense and effort. Bad coaching, bad execution bad bad. Watching Jose try to guard Ja in the 3rd quarter was just one of the many bad coaching decisions.
An other let down by Zion. That playing with flu symptoms ain't going to cut it that number two pick hadn't played a game all year he played exhausted while Zion after sitting on the bench with foul trouble was well rested. How much longer will BI put up with this.
Hate to say it but Willie is not the guy
Blame lost on Green, McCullough for holding/dribbling the ball too long, force shooting bad shots and his shooting too much which usually takes the role players out of there rhythm. Remember CJ is supposed to be a point guard first. Quick ball movement/high assist has already been proven to win games for the pelicans. Zion lacks of rebounds and weak defense. "Zion, please learn how to just simply block out for rebounds. Really don't need size or athleticism for to rebound but those attributes are just pluses.. you should be averaging double digits rebounds." I don't really blame Jones for Ja hitting the last shot on him. Jones has usually won most challenges against the star players. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose.he lost today . The real mistake was Jones not denied Ja from receiving the ball.
Pelicans poor coaching. Offensively, Coach Green should have had 6'7"Jones or whomever, constantly attack 6' 2" Morant. Cut the head of the snake. Coach let the exhausted/tired Morant off the hook just like he let old man Chris Paul off the hook in the playoffs a few years ago
7 of the 12 losses have now featured at least a 10 point blown lead and probably half of those a 20 point lead. I like Willie, I really do but I don't think he is the right guy anymore. I am not sure what the issue is but this team just doesn't have that special quality and I don't see anyone that can bring it. The coach has to get it out of the players and it's not happening. There was a huge overreaction to the Lakers game but this is the main issue of the team, the inability to hold a lead. If you hold half of those leads, you are 19-9 and basically tied for second in the West.
