“Our energy has been different,” Nikola Vucevic said. “We’re playing with a much more aggressive mindset at both ends. We’re playing for each other, sharing the ball, playing at a faster pace. That has brought out the best in everybody.

“We’ve been enjoying playing. Each night it’s a different guy stepping up. All of us are supporting each other. You can just feel that. And when you play that way, it’s very contagious. Positive energy builds up. We haven’t been as stagnant as we were early on. We’ve been getting downhill, finding the open guy, making the extra pass. That’s how you get everybody involved.”

Finally!!!! Only took like 3 years for them to actually look like a cohesive unit but I’m happy nonetheless.

Continuity, Connectedness and Coby White. The three C’s for the Bulls right now.

Should be a given for a team that’s been together this long but hey I’ll take it now better than never

it’s crazy that one guy can be such a negative for the entire team’s play. i’d love for zach to prove me wrong and come back looking to play winning basketball, but i don’t know if his game is changing after almost a decade in the league.

hell, demar is a bad fit for modern basketball, but he’s been adjusting his game to fit his teammates more and using that extra energy saved on offense to put in more defensive work.

it’s just nice to enjoy watching this team play again.

What’s funny is these comments are the exact inverse of what they would tell the press at the start of the season: “we aren’t connected” , “we aren’t playing for each other”

  7. Any coincidence that this started happening after Levine got benched?
