The Raptors are having an underwhelming season but a major bright spot has been the play of Scottie Barnes, who has increased his output in every statistical category in his third season. Is Barnes an all-star? Can the Clippers beat any team in a playoff series? TSN Basketball analyst Jevohn Shepherd weighs in on this and more in this edition of Fantasy or Reality.

He averages better stats than some of the all star "locks"
Barnes is an All Star if I could redraft the nba 2021 draft I would had put him as the 2nd pick overall behind Cunningham.
Would u make this trade Barnes for Wembanyama ??
No he isn’t.
“Almost a triple double” averaging 6 assists is not close to a triple double lmao
Scottie Barnes rn isn’t close to making it over Lillard, Giannis, Tatum, Brown, Brunson, Embiid, Maxey, Randle, paolo, bam, jimmy, Halliburton, Donovan and that’s already 13. Kristaps Franz and Trae have arguments over Scottie too.
Fantasy
If the Raptors had a better record he would be a lock but the team sucks. Scottie is keeping us afloat. Only 22 years old too. Maybe not this year but he's gonna be an all star every year for the next 10 years
If Barnes played any other team than Toronto, than Yes. Toronto/Canada Media, management, fans are clueless of what they have.
It's unfortunate that this kid isn't playing with great talent.
They s^%& on this kid, while back nobodies like journeyman players. Well, one day when he leaves, they'll understand.
Learn about advanced stats and there's no doubt he's an all star. He's actually an all NBA player this season, but he isn't as flashy as some. The players ahead of him in advanced stats such as VORP and BPM are not just all stars, but MVP, hall of fame level guys.
There are no tiers of superstars. Either you are one or you're not.
Pascal siakam has never had the season scottie is having
Scottie is a lock as an all-star based on advanced stats
I think Scottie should squeak in: but wouldn’t be shocked either way
