It’s all about getting the 5th starter spot sorted out. Start Metu for now give him a run of games, if he doesn’t do well revert back to others. We need to try something else because clearly this isn’t working right now. If we still can’t find that guy we need to somehow trade for one even with this franchises limitations.

Come on now, just say it, this roster is rubbish in terms of championships none of the players fit no rim protection and zero point guard.
It all begins with one bs statement: "offense wins u championships brother". This creates attitude where Suns players think "its fine we have kd and book, we can outscore everybody. If not this qarter then the next one, if not this game then the next one. Wait till beal comes back – we will outscore everybody. Its fine". If they don't start fighting against every team in every quarter on every posession, they are not gonna start winning. I see this fight in allen, okogie and goodwin. I used to see it in book. But i dont see it in him anymore. "Good luck guarding us" smh… he is poisoned.
Fam the Suns need to play Defense. And with the current roster they have, that won’t happen. Bradley Beal aint all of a sudden turning into a lockdown defender. He’s a 32 year old vet, who’s set in his ways. They completely turned there roster over to a dude named Kevin Durant, who’s proven he can’t win without being on the warriors. Bridges and Johnson were good fits for Suns. Defensive players who can still give you 20. KD, can still play no doubt, but just like ppl say about Bron, he can’t impact winning as much as he use to. Book talks too much for someone who’s won nothing. Doing all these trades aint solving anything. These are your 3 guys for the next few years and all you gonna get is low level players
Effort & ball movement. That is the key and that's literally Vogel and Kevin Young's job. I would say Young should actually take more of the blame if he's really scheming up this ISO stuff. I'm just literally seeing Gordon and Grayson in the corner waiting to get passed the ball lolol insanely uninspired.
Also these guys are skilled and are not rookies. I'm weirdly not worried about this roster. I just think it hasn't even been close to harnessed yet.
Dude, this team will be lucky to make it to the playin game if they keep losing like this. I wouldn’t have made the KD trade. At that time he was a 34 year old, injury prone player. If they manage to get to the playoffs and have to play Denver or like the Clippers in the first round and they lose… that would be a massive FAILURE of a season, giving all the hype and turn around they did to the team. Throwing the ball to KD with 5 seconds on the shot clock and saying bail is out .. is not kds fault … how about run different action with multiple screens to get him open… it’s not like he’s selfish or inefficient…start Goodwin until Beal returns.. move Booker off the ball…again opposing guards are shooting lights out against the suns …

It's crazy, it's all blame KD.. everyone outside of Some of you suns fans/book stans knows KD is clearly the best player on this team as well as the most efficient player on this team.. if anyone has a green light to shoot, it should be him! KD Is doing what he was brought here to do or try to do.. yall need to pay attention to when Kd gets hott then all of a sudden the ball stops coming to him "multiple games" Some of you need to ask yourselves do you really wanna win or you only want to win if book gets to be the man??
The ISO ball discussion:
When KD ISO’s he scores within the flow of the offense or you get a good shot from another player when KD gets doubled.
When Book ISOs he dribbles the clock out and tries to force a shot.
Need a real PG. KD actually has been very unselfish. Allow himself to be iced out at times. Sacrificing. Day one Phoenix media, podcasters WILL never admit this.
I believe this team has enough…the problem is coaching.. durant has proven that he is not the player that going to run the team, he is going to do his job, its up to the coaching to tell him what they need. I would say hey i need you on the boards this season, give me 12 per game.
The offense is stagnant, the Boston celtics figured out durant in the playoffs and his turover rate has been higher ever since…durant through greatness has weathered through it but if you watch the games it doesn't look organic. I need more actions, offscreens, the suns need structure…its pretty easy to see that..
Coach Vogel in the post game interviews is asked about offense and just says i have durant and booker…🤷♂️
If the offense is stagnant then that will actually hinder the defense. If the suns score quick and up the pace that will keep the other team on thier heels forcing them into bad shots which will lead to more fast break opportunities.
Whatever is going on with the Suns it ain't worth me staying up to 1am to see them lose.

KD was 35 with a history of serious injuries, any assessment of the KD trade without mentioning KD's age and injuries is dishonest, you think half of the fan base were stupid? a trade of Mikal cam johnson crowder and 4 frps for a 28 KD would have been the greatest trade in the history of the nba for the suns, still a highway robbery for the suns if KD was 30, but things get different when he was 34 especially when it depleted you of any assets to assemble a team around him. People were right to be skeptical, It was not as no brainer as many seems to think, and there were precedents clearly showing this type of trade was reckless, the KG/Pierce trade and the recent failure of the Nets superteam. Suns had a young finals team who was one CP replacement away from getting back to the finals, and they had 4 frps which are proven to be valuable to do so, time was on the suns' side with main players mostly 26/27, there was no reason to take such high risk low reward gamble.
The only constant on this team year after year is Book & even though we love him we have to acknowledge he may not be the guy to lead us to a trophy
