My new “young Mavs players I like to watch” power rankings:

    1. Lively
    2. OMax
    3. Lawson
    4. Dennis
    5. Hardy

  2. I don’t think anyone expected a win but that was somehow disappointing even by the reduced standards

  3. gbellsports

Efficient 18/5/4 in 17 minutes, need a Dexter Dennis flair right now.

  4. YoStepWithLuka77

Omax is going to be so great down the road

  5. TheRealLukaDoncicBro

Luka Doncic MVP Agenda game that’s all

  6. Pranker00111

OMax need to develop more in 3 pointer, or else it is really hard to stand in the same court with Luka

  7. whitefang0824

Best players on game are Lawson, Dennis, Omax and Holmes which are garbage time guys on JKidds system. Guys played lot better than our rotation guys who played in this game lol.

  8. Hulabuga420

Bruh Williams was out there with FRINGE players yet fails to score any points lol

  9. highfalutinman

OMax with 20, max hustle and good defense

Dexter with a coming out party

    AJ with good minutes

Holmes with some tenacity on the glass

These boys should play more from hereon out

  10. thewolverineton

turns out when you’re down 4 of your 5 best ballhandlers and your best center, you’re a pretty bad team.

i didn’t expect the garbage shooting. that was new. glad omax got some genuinely great minutes today. otherwise…. What Game?

  11. Afraid-Department-35

This game meant more for Luka’s MVP campaign.

  12. HangoverGang4L

I’m still trying to figure out how GWills short ass got credited with a block. I must’ve been making another drink lol

  13. lilsaucy32

I don’t see why Green or Hardy should be on this team past the deadline. Can definitely get a solid wing player with those 2.

Backup big is still a major need.

It’s hilarious how a 19 year old rookie C is the glue between us being a competent team and a joke.

    Sort of shocking.

  14. slimkid07

    Brutal game.

The only “bright” spots were Dennis and OMax.

Hardy, Curry and THJ were laughably bad.

  15. Vizard15

“Sengun Shines with 22 & 15” – nba.com can’t think of any better title because most of our core guys didn’t play.

  16. treetown777

Did anyone see any of the injured guys on the bench tonight? Seems like guys would be there in spirit as a team even though they aren’t playing. Because it’s Houston, they get to stay back in Dallas?

  17. TZBlueIce

OMax 20 points we’re leaving with something

  18. BleonS04

Only good thing about this game is my boy Dexter Dennis got to cook a bit.

  19. OrganicHunt952

Kidd needs too play Omax more minutes, make Holmes de facto Backup Centre, play Lawson and Dennis more minutes. Nico can trade THJ Powell/Kleber for better pieces add hardy in if anybody offers anything good for him.

  20. Ill-Bat-2621

God I am so happy with what we drafted. Hardy is having the typical 2nd year slump but he regressed so much its crazy

  21. armandocalvinisius

    regarding finding #3

if we get PF, starts DJJ

if we get SG/SF, starts Omax

for 5th starter they are fine

    it’s that simple tbh

    just stay healthy bois

edit : i think powell gone (fit celtics TPE), get real backup and Holmes as 3rd string, his 12m salary more useful as expiring than powell next offseason

  22. DereckLively2

Grant is laughably bad. There’s like a 60% chance the guy make 0 or 1 shot in a game

  23. maverickhistorian

Hardy went 3-17 and 2-12 from 3 ? Lord have mercy

  24. Tokyogerman

I just woke up and only saw the boxscore. Didn’t expect anything from this game, but why is Hardy shooting 12 threes on 17 shots??

  25. Simple_Wait_7286

Everyone outside of Luka, Kyrie, and Lively are tradeable btw. Obviously to various degrees, but this is the type of game where you realize just how mid some of these players are individually, when they aren’t living off of wide open shots created by Luka.

  26. Pauly0906

I just looked at the January schedule and my lord do we need to get healthy quick lol that’s a brutal month

  27. iAmBaTmAn1388

I don’t like anything I’ve seen of Hardy this year whether it’s his body language, shot selection, defensive effort, etc. I was all for the youth movement but if we can get a big wing or a backup c for him I’m all for it. Dude squanders the opportunity every time he sees the Court.

  28. LogansGambit

Say what you want about Hardy, but this isn’t what he was last year. He was excelling despite Kidd screwing up his minutes in the rotation. That’s still happening this year and he’s taken a step back, which with Luka and Kyrie both here fully to learn from, doesn’t make sense.

Then again, a lot of guys have taken a step back.
