Great pickup! Last I heard he was actually balling in Memphis
Grizzlies fan here, don’t get your hopes up. Well his highlight reels is fun, when you actually watch him outside of that he SUCKS. Offensively his only positive is the ability to use his weight to back down smaller perimeter players to score right at the rim. He can’t shoot, has an awful assist/turnover ratio in G-League, and has no go-to moves down low when going against bigs that he can’t overpower. Defensive he’s legitimately one of the worst defenders in the league. He has no lateral quickness or spacial awareness so he can’t guard perimeter players at all, forcing him to play as a drop C. The issue there is that he’s 6’7 with no vertical quickness either, which means he’s a non-threat as a rim protector either, giving up points at will, commiting a bunch of fouls in desperate attempts to stop players, and giving up a bunch of offensive rebounds. And on top of all of that he came into training camp massively overweight (like literally 300lbs) so his work ethic is in question too
