Bears’ defense shines, Justin Fields helps get run game back on track in 27-16 win over Cardinals
Welcome to the under Center podcast presented by St Xavier University I’m always fortunate enough to you joined by our be’s beat reporter Al chapiro follow him at Al chapiro NBCS CLA flipple wonderful self is running the show see our guy Josh is out a little hamper we
Wish him well we hope he he heals up we’re broadcasting virtually from the NBC podcast Studios and I do want to send a shout out to Michael hwit was at Old Navy with the old lady and he watches the show um and he uh wanted us
To know that he watches the show so Mike we appreciate you taking a little bit of time watching Alex Josh myself CLA and Tony all right I I gotta shout out Seth burkman who just called me apologies for that Seth Berkman I’m gonna hit you back
My guy shout out Seth all right the Bears won on the leg front versus the Arizona Cardinals 27 to6 uh Justin Fields was 15 to 27 for 170 yards one t one TD one interception for QB rating to 71 more importantly on nine rushes excuse me he had 97 yards and a
Touchdown that was at the beginning of the game um let’s go jump into the fields report Alex your thoughts on Justin Fields performance yesterday on the lakefront you nailed it with the most importantly the 97 rushing yards uh it was the efficiency with which he ran also I think this was Justin Field’s
Best game as a running quarterback and yeah you can look at the passing numbers and say that’s not very good to be honest they’re not you know they’re not great passing numbers but the Bears didn’t need him to be a great passer the running game with khil Herbert was
Excellent I thought the Run game with him both the scrambles with Justin Fields both the scrambles and the designed runs was also excellent there was one play in particular they had Roshan Johnson out as a lead blocker kind of to the left side the offensive line did a wonderful
Job creating a greatan yeah Lucas Patrick and Cody whiteair we’ll get into these guys they have been much malign this season those two guys played lights out in the Run game in my opinion um rosan Johnson like navigates the lane like a running back as he does and then
Because he’s really good at blocking he pops a guy in the second level and that allows Justin fields to Scamper pretty far essentially untouched obviously the scrambling was great uh he reeled off the 30 yarder uh I thought you know he he did well of finding the Escape Routes so was the
Passing quarterback Justin Fields excellent on Sunday no bears didn’t need passing quarterback Justin to be excellent rushing quarterback Justin Fields was excellent and it got the job done let me ask you this Alex why do you think the passing game didn’t flow for Justin yesterday was it the Cardinals or
Was it the play calling or was it Justin in your opinion I think it might have been part Justin and part play makers I don’t think the play calling was really bad it it didn’t ding for me the cuty third and one stuff that we’ve continued to
See is a different story but that wasn’t the passing attack that’s their their third and short their fourth and short that they just have not been able to figure out this year that’s been a problem um but in terms of the passing attack you got to remember kulat enters
This game with the dinged up quadriceps injury and I thought that was noticeable from the beginning of the game like the first catch you’re like oo this dude is grimacing he is not feeling good then suffers the knee injury he’s like the one dude who’s really clicking the throw
To Kat the 20- yard obviously the 53 yard deep pass where Kat makes this great adjustment that’s the Highlight but the 20 y down the sideline in a tiny window like that big uh where Justin puts it it’s a perfect ball uh and Co KT makes a great
Catch that was really the passing offense but then he suffers the knee injury and now he’s out you have DJ Moore suffers an ankle injury on the second play from scrimmage of the day he was not himself you know he was essentially doing decoy duties and then
He did catch a big third down pass at the end of the game that essentially sealed the win uh but DJ Moore was not dj Moore so you’re down Justin Field’s top two Playmakers they’re not themselves for most of the game I think that played a big role uh and then you
Know there are instances it’s just going to be a thing like could Justin Fields have gotten the ball out of his hands more quickly yes but you know what’s going on with Darnell Mooney I couldn’t tell you um so I would say it’s more on Justin and The Playmakers around him
Than on gatsy and the play call shout out the grit of DJ Moore he’s been banged up for weeks basically um we all saw how bad that ankle looked and for him to to keep persevering and going out there um a player that’s probably going to get a contract in the future already
One of your key players you you like to see that particularly when the season looks like it’s out of hand when you’re talking about getting into the playoffs that injury to co Cole was humming um man that Cole was playing yesterday if he can consistently do that uh next
Season um you will have one of the better tight ends you mentioned this player it was a resurgent from khil Herbert 20 attempts for 112 yards averaging 5.5 carries khil Herber was one cut and go and running downhill and breaking tackles your thought on Herbert’s performance he looked like the
K Herbert of last season yeah I mean it was a big game for him the past two games combined he had 16 yards I think he had eight yards in each game first play of the game bam 13 yards or his first Carry of the game rather 13 yards
Um and that really set the tone you know again I’m not trying to dunk on Justin Field’s the passer because again the Bears didn’t need Justin field Feld to passer to be great because of what khil Herbert did setting that tone and what the offensive line did setting that tone
Every single guy I talked to about the Run game because I wrote about the Run game yesterday I think the first thing that came out of their mouth to a man was it starts up front so the big guys up front deserve a lot of credit for
Creating the holes and then I thought khil looked like he had a little extra burst had a little extra juice I did too now I asked him hey are you feeling healthier or anything did you feel like the extra burst he said no like I’ve been good i’ you know nobody’s healthy
At this point in the season but I’ve been good enough to play the way that I’m capable of playing but what he did say is he and the rest of the running back’s room took last week’s terrible game against the Browns personally and they said we’re not going to let that
Happen again we know what we can do we know we’re the best running attack in the NFL so let’s do it let’s play like it and they brought that passion that’s something that Matt iberl saw he said you know they brought that passion they brought that energy they brought that we
Are going to do this to that football game and they did they accomplished that goal so hats off it seems like it was a mentality thing and then obviously when the offensive line is blocking like they were um khil Herbert can can then be great he can do the things that make him
Excellent which is as you said the one cut and go tev Jenkins was out you had the uh you had Cody white here reasserted into the offensive line at left guard um Lucas Patrick even with his faults I have a thing for Lucas Patrick I know he can be
A kudin um but you need a kudin particularly on the offensive line especially a kudin that you can see loves the team like he’s the first player whenever someone scores is throwing somebody in the air and the way he runs down there I forgot Cody wheh hair had fallen out of bounds Lucas
Patrick sprung towards him picks him up and runs back I’m like do you know that man just blocked and he’s doing that I don’t know and even if it’s a starter I I look at Lucas Patrick as a guy that maybe maybe not if you end up getting
The center in the draft the center has to beat Lucas out but he needs to be a guy that’s still on the line in depth at some fashion for me in the future like he was for the Green Bay Packers before we the Bears brought him here but your
Thoughts on the performance you I know you mentioned Cody and Lucas but your thoughts on the totality of the rest of the off line you said they got to beat Lucas Patrick out are we bringing Lucas Patrick back because he’s playing on the last year of his contract are they
Bringing Luc back the reason that I said that is okay do you remember the beginning of this year where a lot of people were mad at us Josh yourself and me for talking about the depth behind the starters on the offensive line yes I think you have to invest on key backup
Players so that’s what I’m saying as far as I would break him back I hopefully I would want the rookie Center that I bring in to beat him out and then I would have this depth piece of a center behind you know what I’m saying like you you need a legitimate Center your
Center’s gonna get hurt all the offensive linemen are going to risk to get hurt we know you need a swing tackle we know you need a guard hopefully you can say I got a guard I got it can play guard and center but just in case and
Also I just think and again you’re closer to to this than me so it’s a question I’ll ask you I think Lucas Patrick is good for the room you know say I think he’s a veteran that’s good for a young offensive line so it’s a break break glass in case of
Emergency is what I’m saying as far as bringing them back but I also think he is a type of guy you want to to kind of get the grit in these younger players if they don’t necessarily have it yes um he is good for that room they love him and
He is kind of that he’s kind of like a sea urchin this is what I’m going to go with he’s got this very prickly exterior almost like AJ pinski in the white socks I’m making this white socks talk again where on the other team you hate him but
When he’s on your team you love him so he’s got that prickly exterior but like inside that locker room he’s all soft and Squishy and warm and nice you know where he’s like kind of a I don’t know a teddy bear you know to to a lot of the
Guys uh so yes they do love him in that locker room uh and you got to remember he was depth piece coming in to this he was a backup he was the backup center and he was the backup left guard uh backup some sort of
Guard he was working as a backup on the Interior right and when Tevin Jenkins went down that’s when he went into left guard and then Cody whiter Center you know he kind of worked his way in because of injuries and I think he has done pretty solid considering he entered
This season as a backup so crazy we’re talking about this since again Lucas Patrick has been one of the more maligned players in his two years here but yes Lucas Patrick from this season has not been Lucas Patrick from last season and I think a lot of that
Has to do with the fact that he is playing Center the position that they’ brought him in to pay to play here correct and then same with Cody whitehair you know I don’t know that Cody whitehair is gonna have a long-term future with the Bears after this season
I don’t know that they will bring him back but for him to come back in after being benched and play the way that he played I think you know he deserves his share of the flowers as well you might me made me go back to back in the days and watching the
Original Iron Chef and they would have sea urchins but the inside I believe they called it oie yeah and yeah and I was when you just said that I was like is he gonna say oie or whatever but let me ask you this did you have a chance to
Talk to Cody W after the game yesterday no he wasn’t um I kind of was hanging around by that part of the locker room and whenever I was on that side of the room he was not by his locker but I was hoping to talk with him um I just didn’t
See him in there what what was your thoughts on Luke get’s game plan yesterday before we switch over to defense Alex I thought it was good um especially the Run game right the the Run game is the Bears bread and butter and it really did not work last week and
I think the design played a role in that because you’re going against this Brown’s unbelievable front and the bears were just outmanned right and they didn’t have a plan it seemed for me you know to overcome that this week they come with this great inside Zone situation and you know Justin field said
It best you know they weren’t Lanes out there there were highways out there for the running backs to rush through so Chris Morgan Luke gy deser deserve a ton of credit for that obviously viously the players deserve a ton of credit for executing and then I really I really
Thought the designed runs with Justin Fields were very effective and played a big role in the offense moving down the field and scoring points right the passing game wasn’t really humming the running game was everything though and that’s what they needed to do to win and
They won you know so hats off that the scheme was effective and it got the job done in my opinion another coach that deserves props is the defensive backs coach hul you look at Terell Smith you look at Stephenson with pass breakups um Stevenson uh one was pretty important
Jaylen Johnson Kyler Gordon is everywhere that you need your thoughts on the defensive backs this is an elite group that the Bears have thrown together right now Alex this is the real strength of the team the real strength of the Chicago Bears is their secondary those guys two are man are tough and
What’s kind of scary for the rest of the league they’re young they’re young they’re young Eddie Jackson is kind of like the Elder Statesman in the back and again you would talk about a guy that the guys love he big Communicator um he makes sure everybody’s right um Jaylen Johnson in
His prime Tyreek Stevenson and Terrell Smith rookies jaquin brisker and Kyler Gordon secondy year players and they’re they’re just getting it down getting it done there is like one breakdown a game maybe two and a big Spotlight is always shown on that one or two breakdowns but it’s like
It’s only one or two breakdowns for most of the game they are coverage they’re great tacklers right right the the great great tackling often goes overlooked but I mean they stop guys in front of the sticks all the time in that zone defense that’s huge right sure we’re gonna let
You catch the ball for five yards but you’re going down right now right here in front of the sticks they do that routinely and then obviously they all have ball Hawking skills yeah uh so in my opinion the secondary is the true strength of the Chicago Bears great
Technique too like you you see that to where they’re right on the receiver when they’re catching the ball their hands in the right place if the ball’s coming in and try to uh get dissuaded from the receiver um just great they they have done well in drafting and coaching up
And developing those defensive backs Eddie Jackson’s the guy that perhaps need to try to figure out something as far as making I think he has one year left making it maybe two and stretching it out or something I get to another player this not Eddie but it’s a de guy
But we can’t get there just yet uh listen Edmonds has really come on all right Germaine Edmonds that trip that he did yesterday it was a trip but it was so quick and so nice miss that he tripped guy yeah he when so it was it
Was a reception I believe it was a reception and he fell back and he fell back and he quickly threw his his foot up but he kicked him high on his thigh oh I’m fall down let me get your thigh but he did it so quickly and it was like
That’s what you do right it was like that’s what you do right you by any means necessary but Shain Edmonds and there’s always a fear I remember going back in the days uh when uh Brian Cox uh was came from the Dolphins and played in our system in middle linebacker we
Didn’t get the same play of the player that was with the dolphins and there’s always a fear when you sign a free agent to a lot of dollars and that player and start popping early that it’s going to be unfortunate and you’re going to be angry because you be like man we paid
For this and we’re not getting something and now you’re seeing what Matty eberl and Ryan po envisioned and bringing him in to be that guy over the middle that’s long that can get sideline to sideline we we Rave of TJ Edwards all the time but Germaine Edmonds his last like four
Probably five games has really come on and gave us a glimpse and you add that into how the front four is playing and the back side is playing that you got these guys that have to control the middle but also hit the gaps um they got
They get have a nice set on defense and it just the thought that now you can really focus on three technique of defensive end you know what I’m saying if if do we think we have the three technique in the house I’m sure they’re going to want to see with with Dexter J
Senor and and pickings what they be can become but before I get to that your thoughts on TR Edmond and the linebackers uh I’m just going to continue to give myself the L count me among the people who were very critical of that free agent deal not because I
Didn’t think you know traine Edmonds was a solid player I was just like really this is where the Bears are investing their money a middle linebacker and then as you said when it wasn’t really happening early in the season we’re like oh yeah why didn’t they go spend it on
The three Tech why didn’t they go spend it on the defensive end yada yada yada uh Tade Edmond has just continued to prove us wrong over for the second half of the Season he’s been phenomenal uh he didn’t have a takeaway uh but he’s been a takeaway machine which is exactly what
Uh ebra flu wants so trand Edmond just continue to salute you you’re doing your job in there man now this may not be really what happens but you also have to remember now with Tapout teams are going to be fearful of putting the ball in
Areas where he can get his hands on it so they’re going to be times where they would have thrown it there in the past that they may be hesitant because they’ve seen the fact that he’s getting turnovers in certain situations you know I wonder how much of this was due to
Tain Edmond’s missing a ton of training camp you know right you can talk about mental reps this that and the other thing and how important all that is yeah he’s in meetings he’s participating meetings but unless you’re on the grass working next to somebody getting a feel
For them I I do Wonder Looking Back Now how much of the early season struggles were based on the fact that he missed almost the entire summer you know that that’s something that we kind of forgot that I kind of forgot until just now uh where just I wonder new system there
Exactly in a new system uh if he had been there the whole time if we would have seen this from the start also you add to the fact and I agree with you but we we didn’t talk about the force multiplier and Montes sweat and if you
Look at Jermaine Edmonds and how he’s come on it Mont s has probably been on the team for those games and now the ball has to get out quicker so you’re starting to see the fact of the guy that was supposed to be the turnover machine in the middle is getting the turnovers
Because he’s get more opportunities because the quarterback can’t hold on to the ball as long as they were as they earlier in the year I think it’s a new record we made it almost 20 minutes before talking about the sweat effect the sweat effect is now just a part of
Life right it used to be so novel like oh my God you believe this guy in what he’s doing it took us 20 minutes to mention the sweat effect but you’re right the sweat effect is still real it continues to be very real dude that play
Where he’s coming at Kyler and they let him go clean and Kyler it’s tries to throw the ball away and he just jumps up and smacks it dude you’re just like what did we get you look at him and all the time in the draft last year we were
Talking about he’s not tall enough he’s not long enough for what they like he’s the guy that they told us they want it and he is balling out montz sweat and that defensive line so I’ll get to another guy I think they need to keep around um I don’t know how much it’s
Going to cost them I hopefully it’s a team-friendly deal but you gotta keep you gotta keep JJ On the Line there too yes wondering I was I was like kind of waiting for this Moment Justin Jones is another dep guy that you can’t afford you can’t just think those two rookies
Are going to be ready next year in pickings and and Dexter you gotta still think you may need Justin Jones and you’ve seen how Justin Jones play has benefited from the sweat effect right so you can’t just assume particularly if you don’t bring in a three technique out
Of school that’s a and also you go to look that’s a lot of draft Capital that you’re throwing at the interior of the defensive line you use two second day picks right and you probably need to do it again but you can’t let Justin Jones walk out of that building your thoughts
On the play of Justin Jones and the rest of the defensive line outside of mon sweat Alex I ly think Justin Jones had the best game on of all the defensive linemen uh on Sunday on Christmas Eve uh he was in the back field he obviously
Got the sack uh he had a tfl and then there’s one moment that’s not going to show up in the stat sheet that I thought was huge he basically forced a punt single-handedly he hurried Kyler Murray on two straight plays uh got the ball out of Kyler Murray’s hands on a second
Down and a third down and that led to a punt and again when we go through the box scores there’s going to be no mention of oh yeah Justin Jones was in the back field and forced this incomplete pass but that’s exactly what he did uh and I think he’s been really
Really solid again Mont has sweat effect since he’s gotten here it’s funny so I really like talking to Justin Jones I think he’s a really good guy he’s thoughtful and he is one of the guys who always gives us time when we ask for it and last year when I was like what’s
Going on man like three Tech is supposed to be this dominant thing you were so confident the team was so confident it hasn’t happened and he would often say in this scheme it’s really four equals one and I was like yeah yeah yada yada yada uh what what can you do though
What are you doing to help the people next to you but you know maybe playing next to Angelo blackon and an extremely old Robert Quinn who was you know he had he looked really good the year before but last season it was not the same Robert Quinn and then Travis Gibson who
Obviously is not even on this team anymore and Dominique Robinson rushing next to those guys versus rushing next to Andrew Billings who’s been a revelation montz sweat who has been a revelation Demarcus Walker who has you know is he a montz suat no but he’s been an upgrade you know both at defensive
Tackle when he’s in there and defensive end he’s he’s gotten some push rashim green has had some solid solid rushes Some solid snaps it’s pretty much been a uh everything’s everything’s raised right a rising tide lifts all boats that’s what I’m trying to say and Justin Jones is the one guy he’s been
The one constant pretty much throughout all that of course Yi andak when he was here how could I forget Yi andak when he was here right that’s a guy who demands attention so now that you have three other dudes next to Justin Jones Justin Jones has more opportunities to be
Justin Jones uh and and we’re seeing that right we’re seeing that as everybody has gotten better around him his play has gotten better it’s you know not rocket science it makes sense it makes sense but but now you’re starting to see okay he’s having more one-on-one opportunities he’s winning more of those
One-on-one opportunities he is making more of an impact himself because because the defense has other players that they need to pay attention to on that defensive line to be frank and one of the things he said to you too was the fact that he was seeing a lot of
Double teams in those situations and now as you just alluded to you’re you’re double teaming everything shifted towards Mont sweat all right so you’re not like hey who’s the guy on here that we can put two guys on or whatever since we got five and they have four no it’s
Like mon sweat so now Justin Jones can actually do what the three technique does get in the back field and disrupt and as you just saying you’re seeing a lot of that and as he was referencing last year you’re seeing a lot more of that but again I think that’s a player
They need to hold on to he’s a ra ra guy he’s good in the community um I don’t Also let’s not forget he wasn’t even their first option all right true he was the backup play it was it was Larry oen jobi and we all know what happened with
That so shout out to M sweat and everything that he does in that defensive line um anything that took place in the locker room or in the press conferences that stood out to you Alex um no I pretty much got at it you know people were talking about just like
DJ Moore is a tough tough son of a gun for yep basically saying I love it DJ Moore I believe his quote was like yeah I was hurting but then I realized it’s Christmas Eve I should go play like let me go out and gut through this uh it was
His decision the trainers were basically like yeah if you if you you want to play on this you’re good like medically cleared if you can tolerate the pain and he’s like yeah all right let me let me be a gamer let let me just fight through
This and you know he was uses a decoy a lot um so that I was you know that was something I heard a lot and then again just khil Herbert saying we took last week personally we weren’t gon to let that happen again all right so yesterday
Proud had jumping in the shower I had I had to wait uh because the Packers and the Carolina Panthers were tied up 3030 I was afraid everyone I was worried um I’m sitting there a friend of mine is putting in our text threat he she’s updating us and like they were down at
This point I’m like why is he and it’s funny it lets you know how connected he was because it was like maybe 30 to 13 it was something where it was like okay what I don’t care about this right and then they kept coming back and then it
Was like he he keeps out like it’s 3030 like oh no oh Oh Me Oh my right um thoughts Bry shung had 312 yards two TDS um it’s good for Carolina because it seems like they’re getting what they want out of that quarterback that we traded them basically because they went
Up and got Bry sh look I don’t want their future to to be terrible especially after we get what we need out of them all right like they can have one more bad year so our second round pick can be great next season but I want I
Want I want them to play well I want Bryce young to do well but your thoughts on the fact that Carolina almost messed with us but also the Patriots w won another game so now we’re building in a buffer everybody to ensure that we have the number one pick I’m not even saying
This in a move off Justin I’m just saying the most important thing is for the Bears to get the number one pick regardless of what they do with it because it allows them to dictate and and and and basically set up the draft in their favor correct
Um you know what it was like so there’s a TV it’s actually right above my seat kind of near the entrance to the Press Room and uh it reminded me of the exact same scene watching the Houston Texans in week 18 last year score that touchdown and then go for two it was
Very reminiscent of that where there was just a bunch of people watching like hey this isn’t the bears but this affects the Bears big time um it was an exciting game it was an exciting finish for I’m glad the people in the Chicagoland area had a dramatic game to watch in the
Early window uh I wonder how people in the Chicagoland area did rooting for the Packers right in leave a comment are you okay after you rooted for the Packers for one game how are you doing on this Christmas Day easy it was really easy it was easy for
You but here’s next up I believe next up for the Panthers are the Jacksonville Jaguars who yeah yeah at first I was like no shot Panthers win against the Jags uh and then I believe it’s the bucks after that so I thought like the Packers was probably the best opportunity for the
Panthers to win all of a sudden I’m not so sure because the Jags are out of sorts Trevor Lawrence is broken uh and then I’m not sure how it plays out right now because there’s a lot of playoff permutations still out there but what if the Bucks have nothing to play for what
If the B they’re playing for the South but is there a chance they wrap it up up in week 17 I don’t think so I think they’ll be still be playing for the South that last week week 18 so I think the Bucks will be the team that
Takes care of us I’m with you now it seems like the if Carolina plays like this they’re gonna beat the Jacks um but I think I think Baker Mayfield will do us you know I’m saying a good service and look out for us up here in this cold
Weather Chicago even though it hasn’t been that cold so I to wish that on us anything else before we get out here Alex just a Merry Christmas to everybody who celebrates Christmas I hope Santa got you everything you wanted I hope you’re enjoying some time in a t-shirt
And shorts like like it’s Christmas in Florida or something I know it’s not you know people like a white Christmas I like a white Christmas Even though I’m a Jewish I still like a white Christmas I think it’s nice but like this 50 degree weather ain’t bad either you know what I’m
Saying get to that part we used to tell Kelsey all the time she be like I wish it was snow like no you don’t hey it’s hard of the drive all this you heard it I don’t have to add to it you heard his season’s greetings everybody please be
Safe for Claire for Alex and Josh and Tony myself wish you all a happy holidays and we will see you later on in the week

Justin Fields is our future, period.. Nah we need MHJ ….
Guys, Caleb came out & said the Chicago Bears should keep Field’s & draft MHJ, Caleb doesn’t want to come to Chicago, this is going to get interesting 🤔🤔🤔
Yep when you can't pass you have to hand it off to get the run game back on track.
Love how ya'll are talking about hiw you are now after all your concern trolling. Now you shouldn't be confused as to why bears fans hate your podcast.
Crazy how they keep saying Cole went off but Justin didnt pass good, then go to say Justin throw a nice pass to Cole. Like what?? This man made good passes, and im really starting to hate this podcast. Lets pick our Team up and be happy with the win. Thats all yall been talking about for the longest is justin cant win n now he's winning. What else do yall want
Ohio State offense was dynamic with Justin and a really good o line and weapons. Bears offense will be dynamic with JF1 a good Oline and weapons. Trade number one pick for two or three ones and / or a two. Draft MHJ, Ola or Alt and Bowers. If not possible get Higgins in FA. Draft Ola, Bowers and Nabers or Odunize. Build around JF1 and he will make the offense sing. Add DE and DT in FA/draft and the defense goes from really good to bad ass great.
im sure they could get a better backup than lucas patrick
It’s pretty shocking how many bears fans want to stick with mediocrity at QB instead of taking a chance on greatness.
I can see bringing Patrick back on a veteran minimum contract to keep as a rotation player. But not as a starter.
JF was playing well when Moore and Kmet were on the field together
They need another sweat on the opposite side ….another safety and do another over haul for the offense
Did he say Josh Schrock has a little hamper? Huh?
Its Funny How These Garbage Podcast Watch The Game And See All The Problems Then Say Fields Didnt Play Well. 1st Half Fields Played Well because Kmet And Moore. After They Both Went Down, Who Got Open? Who stepped up? Nobody. So stop the CAP
Bears need WRs who attack the ball. These guys just keep waiting for the ball to get to their hands and the DBs break up the passes
You can root for Carolina in that game, but absolutely never root for the Packers. What are we doing here🤮🤦
Rocking a Christmas show? Thanks much – you guys are awesome!
A new QB cannot catch passes for our current recievers. Fields' passing took a downturn after the top 2 targets on the team were no longer viable options. No shit, huh?
Broadcasters point out the obvious: No one is getting open.
"WHY BUSTIN FIELDS NO THROW BALL GOOD DRAFT CALEB WILLIAMS!!!"
Bears fans are their own worst enemy. smh
Do you have to keep Justin Fields they have to draft Marvin Harrison Junior with DJ Moore, Cole Kmet, and a running game we will be unstoppable
Conversation at the end made no sense.
Wow I’m impressed finally seeing a show that knows what this team is and hasn’t moved the goal posts. Idk what the thoughts you guys have on Justin future but good to see you have some sense and not so negative like almost every other Bears show. We knew what this team was we’ve gotten better but people seen we got better and moved the goal post to something we are not. Be happy we got better. One more offseason of building the team and I think we will be a force in the league
It's amazing to me how Washington pretty much squandered a stacked defensive line with absolute killers end-to-end.
