The Grizzlies are undefeated since Ja’s return and honestly the blame lies largely on us. If the Pels could have blown the Grizzlies out on live television, I think that would have been pretty demoralizing for the franchise. Instead we let them come back and now they’re rolling. I don’t see the Pels winning this game. They already derailed the revenge tour by losing to the Rockets in the same way as they lost to them in their first game.
Gotta avoid stringing together losses. A few days off to rest bodies and minds was hopefully exactly what this team needed.
Hopefully we have a better plan for containing Ja tonight than last time. If JV and Zion can impose their will the advantage for us is in the paint.
