Losing a bit of joy and sparkle with this team, time to put away the turkey and start playing the way we can.
Another L and more downvotes.
Victor Oladipe – Out. Gave me a good chuckle
At this rate, I’d love to see the team just move back to the same starting unit as last year: Tyrese, Nembhard, Buddy, Nesmith and Myles. Let Bruce Brown be the jack of all trades bench guy.
We were more competitive and had better defense. I love Obi and think he’s played very well on offense, but he is who he is on defense.
Hopefully, we can see Benn get out of Rick’s doghouse. His advanced stats are better this year. His turnover % is down. His assist and rebound % is up. His eFG% is up (he’s made a significant improvement from 3). Would love to see Rick take the leash off of him.
We still have a young and exciting team.
Say hello to a losing record! Back in purgatory of too good for lottery and too bad to do anything in the playoffs.
Really wish we would just lean into the youth movement. I still feel like we’d be a play in team even if we did. What’s our ceiling playing the vets? 6th? If everyone plays crazy, maaaaaybe 5th? Most likely probably around 7-8. I feel like we could manage at least 10th with our young guys. Our star is 23, not 28. I just cringe thinking about trading for a 30 year old to push up our timeline.
Schedule is gonna be tough over the next 30 days. Gotta get a win here
