So he scammed me as well, and the only reason I trusted him is because I successfully bought tickets from him prior to this so I trusted that he would come through this time around, but he scammed a broke college student for a $100 bucks on Christmas :/

The reason why I wanted to post this is because when I initially bought tickets from him he sent me his name, address, and other personal details to prove his validity as a seller. I think he intended to be an honest seller but after all his tickets sold out he decided to scam some people that trusted him from the first encounter.
At any rate, was wondering if the personal details could be given to the police and hopefully get my money back, if anyone knows. Thanks!
don’t know how many times it needs to be said, but apparently it needs repeating:
do not, under any circumstances, buy tickets from someone you don’t personally know unless it’s through a proper reseller. no one’s giving you a super secret deal because they’re just a really cool person. really cool people give away free tickets by sending a ticketmaster transfer through your email.
if you’re trying to spend money to get into a game, get it through ticketmaster/seatgeek/gametime. ticket resell websites suck shit but at least there are reasonable guarantees built into them. cops aren’t going to do a thing, your money is gone.

Every time I see one of those posts in here trying to sell some tickets ijust assume it’s a scam. I know sometimes it isn’t but even then the transaction requires an extremely high level of trust and integrity between 2 random internet strangers to go right. Frankly I’m surprised more of them don’t turn orlut to be scams.
