Growing up in the 80s I remember how it used to be common for a lot of South Philly residents (the type who might appreciate having a dedicated night like this) to say they are big fans of the Eagles, Phillies and Flyers. They almost purposely left out the Sixers. And this was during the heyday when the team had Dr J, Moses Malone, Andrew Tony et al, or else soon after when Barkley was there. I always wondered why.
