Live image of people who think a new coach will suddenly make us better

Here’s a hot take – the Lakers current players (Rui, D’lo, Vando, Hayes, Wood) should play better.

I think its more that not having Ham would likely prevent us from minimizing our output

I’ve been getting tilted in BGs all night and now I am directly called out.

Tell me how wood plays better when ham doesn’t put him in 🤷🏾‍♂️

I fully defended Vogel during the Westbrook season and thought the criticism of Ham after the WCF was overblown but 80% of our failure this season ABSOLUTELY is on him. Idk why that’s controversial.

Wood and Hayes are used each in career high usages in drop-coverage when they’re both BAD drop bigs. Cam Reddish is getting 25+ minutes when he should be closer to 15. Austin Reaves is being held to “27 minutes” to keep him fresh when we play Lebron, AD, Prince, Cam 35+ regularly. And putting out Reddish and Vando in so stupid I shouldn’t have to explain it.

Sure, our players should play better, but they aren’t being put in situations to succeed which is a coach’s entire job.

Another post calling out every player under the sun for no apparent reason but Reaves like he isn’t a negative turnstile on D when his shot isn’t falling

Our struggles, IMO, are 70% roster, 30% coach. If our roster was perfect with this coach, we still wouldn’t be able to win because Ham isn’t a great coach. Problem is, there’s no one available now that can replace him. This will be an offseason thing. Personnel is the bigger issue – we lack the talent/supporting cast/ basketball fit outside of AD and Bron to compete against the elite teams. It’s clear as day.
