I’m just hoping they’re using him as leverage to get LaVine at a lower price point. Like I’m not really that keen on getting Murray to begin with and then you hear that they understand it would take including Reaves to get that kind of deal done? No. Just no.

For some reason I cant submit a post on the sub but Nick Richards is who the Lakers need to trade for.
Unsure what Hornets would want in return. Richards is on a team friendly deal and has the defense of a true center while being able to hold his own offensively in the post. For all the nuggets worriers, he’s held his own against Jokic better than what Wood and Hayes could ever dream of. He isn’t switchable but that’s okay because having Richards frees up AD even more. Itd be great if Lakers could nab him somehow.

Nick Richards and Terry Rozier would be cool. Rozier can playmake and shoot off the catch and he not afraid of the moment. Hes a killer.

You’re acting like he’s on a max deal. He’s making 17 million this season and will be making 24 million next season on his new deal. Murray will make 30 million in 2027-28, if he opts into his player option. With a new TV deal around the corner that could be a bargain for a player who can get you 20/5/5 on any given night.

Everyone keeps throwing these dumbass trades around which makes the team only marginally better, we can achieve this marginal improvements by just making the obvious lineup and rotational changes by playing Rui, Reaves, AD and Lebron together as much as possible. Whatever Murray will add to the team Gabe V can do that aswell and the dude is proven in the playoffs. The team will be much better off getting AD some help at the center than trading for another guard. Get center of DLo and hope Gabe and Vando come back fully healthy. There is magical trade, DLo’s minutes need to go to Vincent that dude can play
