Is this fair for DJM?

Lakers fan here. I come in peace ✌🏽

At risk of being kicked out this sub I just wanted to gauge DJM’s value from those who know the team best.

Is something like this far off? Close? Or right on the money? I know trading a player like Murray is never easy, but here was my logic…

Jazz feel like a natural third team as Lakers are in position to take on that Collins contract and they have a surplus of picks for ATL.

For the Hawks, you get two firsts to deepen the asset pool, Rui as a long term piece to back up and/or play next to JJ, a good 3 and d prospect in Christie, another young guard in JHS, and bring back Dunn who can be the defensive backup for Trae this year while letting Bufkin and Lundy develop.

Let me know what y’all think!

Yeah we’ll totally trade a 20 PPG scorer/1x All-Star for 3 bench players, Dunn who will be out of the league by this time next year, and 2 1sts.. cmon bro

I mean it’s not the worst I’ve seen but only makes sense if we were blowing the team up completely, as it doesn’t help us be competitive in the short term. Plus there’s a good chance neither of those picks will be valuable.

Also I don’t see Utah giving up an unprotected 1st for DLo

not the worst thing I’ve ever seen but I still don’t like it from the hawks side

lakers win out massively, hawks sidegrade/downgrade, and jazz get shafted (they would never take this trade)

One of the better trades I’ve seen, though… I still don’t think it suits our purposes ✌🏾
