After reading the full article and not reading some tweet of snippet, I did not see the big deal about what Kuminga said. Thankfully, i read the full article before i came to the sub. But the sub is always ready to skewer Kuminga. Haha

Kuminga is clearly trying to be humble and give his take. But I will say it.
This team isn’t good enough for Kuminga not consistently be playing 25+ minutes a game. If they were 20-5, maybe. But they’re not.
Klay’s reputation and experience allows Kerr to keep him in the game when the same rep and experience shows that he doesn’t get better at the end of games if he has been clanking for 3 and a half quarters and not hustling on defense.
Kuminga on the other hand gets pulled. Moody gets benched even though he scored the last 12 points for the team.

This bit in the article caught my eyes: “**Kuminga is sixth on the roster in total fourth-quarter minutes this season but second behind Curry in total fourth-quarter points. Part of that is because he is shooting 63.6 percent from the field in the fourth quarter and gets to the free-throw line more than anyone but Curry.** ”
Seems to check with what I’ve seen of him whenever he’s played 4th quarters which makes it even more baffling why Kerr doesn’t want to use him as a weapon to close out games given his productions and efficiency in 4th quarters.
