I'd like to see Wemby keep those blocks inbounds.
Just watched a clip of JJ Reddick addressing the lack of wemby involvement on his podcast. They said that for now, pop is moving in a totally opposite direction of play calling for getting him the ball (this doesn’t mean it will always be like this, I think it’ll just be for him to develop and tank). This might be the best thing for his development because he will learn how to be effective without plays directly called for him/force feeding him the ball. This also takes pressure off of him to help him learn how to play team basketball and not iso ball.
Just think about it, you can easily force feed him at high points no one else can reach and he can score 20/30 a night but this won’t teach him how to make an impact outside of plays directly called for him so letting him get his own in a more gritty way will help his development. The best players know how to contribute when plays aren’t directly called for them instead of just sitting in the corner or the drop block. Also this will help them tank for a solid point guard to put him next to

Nice things happen when he is actually the point guard. This man knows how to pass. He has to work on his conditioning though. I don't know if he gets tired easily because of his injury. But he always starts ok then his shooting plummets because of fatigue.
