The Warriors Were Cheated BADLY… By The NBA

I have no no problem with the officials themselves all across the league we have really good officials I have a problem with the way we’re legislating defense out of the game that’s what we’re doing in the NBA the way we’re teaching the officials we’re just enabling players to

BS their way to the foul way I were a fan I wouldn’t wanted to watch that second half of that game it was disgusting baiting baiting refs into calls but the refs have to make those calls because that’s how they’re taught I have a real problem with the way we’ve

Legislated defense out of the game in this league and players are really smart in this league and for for over the last decade or so they’ve gotten smarter and smarter and they’re just um they’re just enable we have enabled the players and they are taking full advantage and it’s

A parade to the free throw line and it’s disgusting to watch thanks as you can see Warriors head coach Steve cerr is well aware that his team’s top player and Stephen Curry’s game isn’t based around exploiting officials with flops in order to get to the foul line unlike many others obious obviously Steph

Himself knows he’s not a Flopper as well it does cater to the guys that can sell calls when there’s physicality it’s tough cuz it’s inconsistent at times on either side just consistency is is key when it comes to understanding how you can defend it was tough tonight slowed

The whole game down obviously he made every free throw and um you know change momentum play it into their hands and until things change you guys you have to adjust but it’s frustrating with golden state holding yic to an off night conversely the officials weren’t having it summed up by rookie Brandon pky

Players are are good at selling files and yish is is 4 for2 which we love and but he shoots 18 free throws the Nuggets deserve credit for beating the warriors on Christmas day but the officiating crew of Courtney Kirkland Michael Smith and Trey madx maddeningly Stole Christmas for both fan bases most

Frustratingly a game before this Curry was called for a flopping technical foul after a natural fall to the floor following an acrobatic layup where his Defender demonstrates illegal hands on the hip contact given all the flops we see from players in today’s game that are glossed over Steph receiving a

Technical foul on that was ridiculous this flopping technical foul rule which the NBA inserted in 2023 summer is about as subjective as it gets considering refs have been rewarding actual flops from the likes of certain superstars with foul shots the whistle was incredibly soft really both ways all

Christmas between the dubs and nugs but three crucial calls in the last 4 Minutes Alone were brutal firstly Kirkland Smith and madx display they aren’t even watching the game by failing to call this clear offensive basket interference on Aaron Gordon you have to wait for the ball to clear the cylinder

According to the NBA rule book and this clearly doesn’t clear the cylinder before AG puts it back this should be waved off with the Warriors gaining possession but instead two illegal points are rewarded in a one-point game down the stretch less than 20 seconds later again in a one-point game yic

Leans into Wiggins to draw contact the NBA rule book made leaning in for contact illegal before the 2021-22 season and to be fair to the majority of officials they’ve done a bit better in the third year of this rule being enforced give credit to the officials

Who’ve done a good job my question is considering once the playoffs hit and physicality increases nonsensical flopping is then glossed over by officials why should us fans have to deal with it during the regular season another question of mine is why are officials never given fines for bad

Calls while simultaneously in most cases players and coaches are fine for both technical fouls and even talking about bad calls postgame moving on to the third wrong call in the clutch which comes after yic hands it off to Murray as you can see yic momentarily latches onto the arm of Wiggins before flailing

Back however the refs call a foul on Wiggins given the nuggets are in the bonus joic is rewarded two more free throws for that flop and you shouldn’t blame joic for selling contact because floppers in general have been manipulating the way NBA officials have been taught for years yic outshot career

18 to1 at the foul line purely based off his ability to sell and unnaturally initiate contact as opposed to being legitimately hacked as Kerr alluded to and from my perspective as both a defensive-minded player when stepping between the lines and a defensive-minded fan when watching the games it’s

Disappointing to say the least that fundamental defense and the slightest bit of physicality no longer gets rewarded in today’s game and a loser whistle at least during the regular season doesn’t seem like it’s going to be returning anytime soon proved by Commissioner Adam silver in an interview

From 7 months ago which we’re about to look at take this next clip as you will will it ever be a time when the hand check comes back there was a point I believe you know probably in around the late 90s when the game became too

Physical and I think we lost some of the 12s you mean yeah and I think for our fans from the aesthetic enjoyment of the game where it deemphasized the particular skill a player had and maybe weighted too heavily um physicality where a big strong player could come in

And prevent a incredibly skilled player from doing those kinds of things I think of not that he’s a small guy but a smaller player like Steph Curry can do on the floor I think that his ability to shoot his ability to move through the paint that if guys could just bang him

And knock him to the ground as that was once the case in the league I don’t think that would be a better brand of basketball so the elite promotional Workhorse that is Adam Silver essentially just told us casuals that Stephen Curry wouldn’t survive in the ’90s

What a hot take my guy ironic part is even in the modern age if you watch basketball nowadays you know physicality still ramps up in the playoffs with refs loosening up the whistle tremendously once April May and June hit silver statement ignorantly disregards that as

Well as how Steph’s been able to make up for his lack of height and physical force with the greatest three-point stroke in the history of basketball and allaround Polished finesse bottom line is for the refs a neither team’s fan basee on any given night likes to watch

Free throws B neither team’s fan base on any given night likes to watch biased refs and C neither team’s fan base on any given night likes to watch flopping get rewarded with battle shots aside from the ugly courts the inseason tournament was a cute addition as I

Noted after the Lakers winning in this video right here but the real way to bring new viewers in and keep said viewers here is to hire unbiased fast on their feet officials who are Elite at judging actual contact as opposed to players’s reaction to said contact it

All goes back to as Kerr alluded to the way these officials are taught and right now the flopping technical foul thing hasn’t worked whatsoever Adam Silver needs to think much bigger I would suggest the training camp for refs that the NBA publicizes that enforces entirely new teaching methods in terms

Of valuing positioning over flopping your boy D flow could lead it with a PowerPoint but in all seriousness the NBA needs to get it together because the flopping slows down the game we all love significantly and it makes it an unwatchable product when the rules the League’s enforced aren’t followed by its

Officials # stop the Flop to shout outs for my last upload and this one next time but I want to know what needs the change with the refs in your opinion competing Community speaks with your take def flow signing off

The NBA product is hampered by the favoring of floppers, signified by the dubs getting cheated in the mile-high city. Along with finding out how the refs were also a mile high, how did Commissioner Adam Silver throw shade at Stephen Curry a while back?

  1. Its easy to see, Dylan Brooks threatened GP2's life clothelining him when he was off his feet, resulting in injury!!!!!! 1 game suspension????? Draymond pulls a player off his player and gets 6 weeks. NBA is dead set on ruining Steph Curry's bid for GOAT. Hmm benching draymond against Ledouche and cavs. Lost the championship thanks NBA, then Clay and Durant go down in championship #2. So Steph has 6 championships!!! Possibly more. Fouls on Steph are rarely called. A man who has changed the game forever!!! Goat.
But NBA don't like it so its rigged, but Steph's shot is still pure, work ethic, fan concern, leader, teamate support, most principled, believes in God, man In the NBA!!!!!

  2. I got turned off from the nba when they did that BLM grift but the refs have literally made this product completely unwatchable. It’s absolutely insane how much power and influence they have over the game. People complain about the nfl refs but the nfl refs can’t gift your opponent free points anytime they feel like it. Imagine the nfl giving a team free 20 yard field goals every time someone flops lol it would destroy that league too.

  3. Cry me a river. How mighty have fallen. You better find out why your players suck, instead blaming it on others. Referee sux, even when Jokic was ejected 2x for absolutelly nothing. But nobody speak or argue for Jokic and Denver. Now, when they are getting the calls for fouls, as they should from the start of the season, somehow, everyone is jumping on the "GSW got robbed" "They cheated" ect. Trash ass NBA with trash ass players and trash ass teams.

  4. They should null the last game (warrior vs nugget) because of the officials did a horrible job with each team a win and fine the officials. You are right i stopped watching the game, for me it was ridge.

  5. With the advancement of tech, it would be interesting if they could put some sort of pressure sensitive technology in the jerseys/compression under-jersey that could actually measure-mathematically-the pounds of pressure a guy is hit with. So when a 7footer goes flying they could look at the numbers and say ok 2.5lbs of pressure, he's a liar. Of course it would eliminate most of the lying.

  6. If a guy like Steph Curry bumped a guy like Jokic hard enough to send him flying, it's just the laws a physics that say Steph would also go flying backwards because he weighs considerably less. If 100 pounds collides with 200 pounds which do you think would be more effected?

  7. Kerr is against the flopping and the inconsistent calls as he is also the head coach of team USA. FIBA rules is very much different from NBA and he doesn't want players to flop as that would essentially increase the challenge for team USA to win another gold medal 😂

  8. how tf did Jokic flew like that from a little shove from a guy like Curry and he did not get called for a flopping technical. I mean you saw a 7footer guy flew couple of blocks lmao. for fck sake, that is fcking ridiculous. If I am Jokic I will be ashame to be shoed off like that by a man half my size. fcking lame

  9. nba should also look at the instigator not just the reactions of the player in a physical play, just like the sabonis-green incident where sabonis held green's leg prior to the reaction of green stumping sabonis to the ground, both kind of acts should not be rewarded.

  10. if they have refs to watch the replay and see the player flopped on the play should deduct points on that team.. money is not the issue but if they lose points can cost them the game or go into playoff

  11. Can't believe that Adam Silver is using Stephen Curry as a scapegoat, given Curry is known for beefing up over the last 4-5 seasons AND still gets hammered every single game while rarely receiving legitimate foul calls nor complaining about not getting the calls. Yet the biggest guys in the league are allowed to sale flops and then receive Finals MVPs (for acting).

    Unbelievable.

  12. Wasn't thrilled with officiating during that game, but look at the flip side. Jokic and the Nuggets live in the paint and drive the lane. Jokic averages over 100 touches per game, most in the NBA, and he is 17th on the list for FT attempts. Steph is 21st. Embiid and Giannis lead the pack… Joker doesn't get the whistle. This game was unusual! Check out the big fellas arms from the players hanging on him. Just because he can take it physically doesn't mean that he should! If refereeing was fair and consistent, players like Jokic don't need to try and show the foul by flailing. JMO.

  13. 100% and they think that we're just cry babies just cuz Laker and Lebron casuals wanna feel good about it but in reality they just flopped their way to the WCF which made us not play good defense and giving us these bogus ass bullshit foul calls, that and Jordan Poole was no help at all.

  14. As far as what needs to change with the refs, they clearly are being trained to allow these flops, even though the rules disallow them. Thus, it's a player-by-player choice by the refs. Thus, they decide game outcomes on based upon personal bias. Here's my opinion on what should happen: 1) Fire the obvious offenders (i.e. refs like Scott Foster) –

This sends an undeniable message that the league will not tolerate obvious extreme biases.

    2) Retraining –

The problem has been decades in the making, and retraining at this point is critical to reestablishing fans trusts.

    3) Institute a Referee Rating System –

There are refs who should and should not refs playoff matches, let alone regular season matches.

A system that mirrors what the NBA has with the players would be great. (i.e. SC% – Successful Call Percentage; CW%/CO% – Challenge Wins or Challenge Overruled Percentage as examples).

    4) Fine Refs –

Until the problems are ironed out league-wide, refs should be fined for missing calls, blowing calls, or showing biases for or against players and/or teams.

    5) Referee Trophy –

Like the players, Referee should be voted on by fans, coaches, and reporters to receive MVR/Os (Most Valuable Referees/Officials) for Division, Conference, and League recognition.

These are off the top of my head, and would be a reasonable start.

  15. What Steph does that might allude to a flop – especially out past the arc, is the collapse of his legs – more or less folding up his downward momentum – so that the potential for ankle injury is mitigated. I did the exact same maneuver when I played ball. My ankles were prone to injury – just like Steph's. The thought of landing on an defender's foot was always omnipresent. Better to be safe than sorry.

  16. These leagues are all about stealing the money of those foolish enough to bet. Stop betting and maybe we can have a genuine competition again.

  17. Is Adam not aware that Steph's current physique is buff af? What the heck is he saying Curry cannot survive that era? There are other players who are thinner and smaller than Steph, yet he still uses him as an example? LMAO. Also, all 'vs Nuggets' games this season are very winnable for the Warriors. It's just that the refs beat them. Last time, it was the infamous missed goaltending call; now, it's this unwatchable game.

  18. Steph has been cheated all his life. He has never gotten the 'superstar' calls. Apparently he can do the same things as LBJ/Giannis/Durant etc and they get the call and steph gets … nothing.

If Steph actually got SS calls? He'd average 5-10 more every single game with his NINETY percent FT %.At an average of 70 games played per year, that's between 350 – 700 more points per year. Over 10 years that's 3500 – 7000 more points! Not only would this strengthen Steph's Rushmore/HoF case but imagine what it would do to a certain rival … ?

The match fixing at this point is so egregious, as is the preferential treatment of some superstars, that it's obvious who the league is in bed with and why some teams get a lot more FT than other teams.

I love basketball. The NBA is becoming unwatchable.

  19. I'm starting to think that flopping should not be an in game foul. Instead it should be an after game fine. That increases for repeat offenders.

  20. The game is becoming increasingly difficult to watch: lame foul calls, questionable antics of Scott Foster, et.al., the propping up of LeLame, Adam Silver not wearing a condom over his head. I miss the 80's and 90's when it was a game of men who competed, not flopped or load managed.

  21. Didn't know Jokic is such a flopper. Was rooting for Nuggets to win the NBA final again this year but seeing how big a flopper Jokic is, I hope they get eliminated.

  22. I have a genuine question (not an american and just a casual nba youtube highlights fan).

If the refs/ruling system are bad, and so many fans are unhappy about it, why isnt there a strong voice out there (be it by fans or nba teams) to force a change?

Feels to me that NBA fans hate being 'soft' (note: this obviously dont apply to all, just a slight mock to those who hate being soft) but are real softies when it comes to pushing for changes that benefits the game.

Or is the answer simply that most teams/fans are actually happy with the refs and ruling system, its only the minority 'loud' complaints that we are seeing here?

  23. game should be paused for the video replay, then penalties awarded accordingly, and bad calls should be fined for sure.
