Ok so I am (mostly) joking. But imagine this scenario:
Beal never gets healthy this year. Booker – who is already expressing his frustration: https://clutchpoints.com/suns-news-devin-booker-doesnt-hold-back-on-phoenix-after-getting-torched-by-luka-doncic-in-latest-loss – wants out. The Suns realize Beal is toast and his contract will make it impossible to compete. The answer is therefore to rebuild…but they can’t because the Nets have all their picks.
So they get all their picks back plus Ben Simmons to match money. Maybe even the Dallas ‘29 unprotected the Nets control. They also flip Durant for more positive assets. Beal commands the tank alongside trusted lieutenant Yuta Watanabe.
Sure, we would just be reassembling a Suns team that didn’t get it done. But Booker is firmly in his prime now. Bridges has improved. Claxton either develops or is traded. Ditto Cam Thomas.
The Suns still have time to turn things around. But if they don’t, how crazy is this?

makes no sense for both sides
Haha I’d want to be in the same room as KD when that goes down
Why would they do tgat
It makes no since for them.
As for us we become competitive for the near future and become Suns of the East.
PHX would not do this, and the Nets need a starting PG, not a SG.
What?
would trade every single player to get yuta back otherwise fuck no let the suns rot
I like Booker but give me Luka instead.
Suns fan here.
This is delusional. You’re more likely to get kd back than booker. Book has been through tougher times than this. He’s shown zero interest in leaving. The organization is ready to give him everything he wants. His frustration is not because of the organization. His frustration is because they’re losing. This isn’t an issue with a lack of talent, and it’s not because Beal is injured. This is an issue with the coaching staff. Whoever makes the game plan decisions. Some players aren’t buying in. You don’t give away a perennial Allstar for draft picks because of a coaching issue.
