this is why i’ve been advocating trading bridges. We’re going nowhere with him over the next few years. trade him while his value is high and we can properly rebuild. we probably won’t even be that much worse, hes really nothing special.
We have a really solid bench but we don’t have a solid starting lineup. It just doesn’t work.
Will be nice to have Lonnie back soon to provide some more scoring at least.
Missing that many Free Throws killed us, and I really hated the way JV handled the game from start to finish (terrible rotations, terrible challenge).

These guys aren’t good enough. Maybe we should expect these results. JV is mid but it’s probably not the difference. These guys didn’t have shit tonight. You could excuse even some lowlights like the Knicks game effort but it’s over now. Not good enough.
The twins are mid. We can’t play half ass and win. The twins and dinwiddie cannot be ass. We should be getting better as a team not regressing

Like I said last game this team is not good enough to be purposely punting games. They wanna make playoffs right? Well we’re not the Celtics. We’re not the bucks. NO WIN IS EASY FOR US!! We need every win we can get if we wanna make the playoffs. I don’t know who the hell this team thought they were to pull what they pulled against the bucks. And on top of that I have no idea what they’re doing with Cam. I thought this was a development year? Part of development is letting him try to learn how to get better in other areas of his game ON THE COURT. Not letting him run with the young guys against the bucks after benching him the 4th quarter against the pistons, and then benching him tonight? What are we doing? We have a special young talent and what the hell are we doing with him?
Damn…Well, the good news is, if anyone here is a hockey fan, it’s looking like a pretty good night.

Playing Thomas.. our best scorer only 23 mins especially against the lowly Wizards… that’s ridiculous. The signs of a coach who is either trying to teach a lesson to a player or he doesn’t like their game.
It’s funny how fans think, oh we would’ve surely beaten a team that has Giannis, while Kyle Kuzma was cooking us. Some of you seem too emotional.
Here’s a tip, when I feel too emotionally involved, I take a break. Watch hockey, watch something else, go for a walk instead.
We knew going into this season we were gonna struggle at times creating offense. We don’t have that guy.
A little late to this but I would like to add my thoughts that no one asked for. This has been a tough month for the nets and tougher week.
JV doesnt realize that this team doesn’t have the luxury to pick and choose its wins, so resting the team against the Bucks in front of your home fans, which was already embarrassment, looks even more stupid when you throw away a game like that and now go two games under .500 with a tough road trip to come.
This team is closer to trading for more assets and young players than trading for a championship caliber star unfortunately now. A lot of these players won’t be here next year, and I wouldn’t be surprised that after we get a real direction, nor will JV.
I was always a JV supporter, but I’m officially done with him. He’s been abysmal. The team has absolutely no identity. Unless we plan to do this for the next 50 games, we need to get off of him asap.
But I do have to say: I don’t think Marks gets enough heat for his roster construction. We’re playing drop because we have an abysmal rebounding roster. A center who’s best guarding at the perimeter. A massively undersized power forward. So we organize our whole game plan around that deficiency, and what’s left is a mess. A lot of us pointed out a lack of playmaking in the off-season. We didn’t address it, and now our offense is empty because no one can create for anyone else. And I still contest he got fleeced by PHL in a way he has never been held accountable for. Taking on Simmons made us worse off than just letting Harden walk. We essentially traded Harden for Royce O’Neale and handcuffs for the next two seasons.
Marks’ strength is drafting and finding diamond-in-the-rough talent. But the pieces virtually never fit together. He’s also horrendous at scouting coaches. Nash? Signing JV to a long contract on the cusp of us entering an era of an unclear identity, when he ostensibly had no other suitors? And all these highly touted assistant coaching staffs—what have they gotten us?
JV needs to go. I’m not ready to write off Marks completely, but I hope he’s at a minimum getting his ass handed to him behind closed doors.
