If you’re wondering why the Thunder looked so much more energetic today than the Nuggets

The Nuggets are playing their 8th back to back, which is the most in the NBA so far this season. The Thunder have played 3 back to backs, which is the least in the NBA. The Nuggets are playing their 34th game this season, which is the most in the NBA. The Thunder are playing their 30th game, which is tied for the least in the NBA.

  3. DefiniteSauce12

I wish Malone kept Strawther out there over CB. CB provides nothing atm

  4. SuperHussyTravin

If only we had Aaron Gordon bro. We had no energy today and AG usually brings it

  5. BroncoSquatch

Jamal was really bad tonight but he’s been solid recently so not a big deal.

I am very much struggling with CB minutes at the moment. He’s been tragic on offense when it comes to anything besides open catch and shoot threes

  6. InsertWhittyPhrase

Our 3pt shooting was ass and obviously we’re down AG, but I have seen enough of OKC to know they could be a problem for us in a 7 game series

  7. Bleppingheckk

Hey I know it sucks but if there was a time to make mistakes against a good playoff contending team, that time would be now and not potentially be during a playoff series against them 💀

  8. Jokic could have scored / drawn a foul easy on most of the soft ass half-doubles they sent at him. Sure, Peyton didn’t exlpoit the gaps the way AG does and mucked up passing lanes a time or two, Jokic also made some bad passes, guys were missing shots (why he should have forced scoring) but still. Jokic just wired to pass in the RS / in some games man it’s the #1 thing that cost us offensively this game besides the dogshit shooting nights from Mike and Jamal. Like i guarantee you Embiid isn’t stopping trying to push 200lbs Chet Holmgren under the basket and picking the ball up tryna pass once he sees “Lu Dort” come one foot closer half-doubling. Spin opposite shoulder hook / jumper / force through the contact he could have scored 40 despite the doubles.

AG’s size advantage crucial against OKC And Justin Holiday first guy off the bench i dont wanna see ts again bro. And CB 100% needs more minutes next to Jokic to get back into some rhythm, he was drafted for his playstyle fit next to Jokic / the starters, not 5 bench lineups. He shouldn’t be the last guy in.

  9. this thunder team needs to go out and get an all star level forward from a tanking team. they have so many picks and aren’t tied down by mpj type contracts for mid players.

i can see them and celtics being the two dogs in the second half of the decade.

  10. Aldmouel

Shai got nearly as many free throw attempts as our entire team, wow why do I like this sport at all

  11. AbelardsArdor

Jokic getting zero FTs in this game is just absurd but, you know, par for the course. Wouldnt have changed anything anyway, the energy was predictably low the whole game because it was a SEGABABA.

Anyway, I’m counting down the years until Jokic retires so I can stop pretending to enjoy NBA “basketball.”

  12. YummyYumYumi

off night from every facet of basketball

  13. Damn it sucks losing by OKC twice in DENVER ! and pretty much giving them the 2nd seed… But they have proven they are better team

  14. OhWhatsInaWonderball

Some games the nuggets just don’t give a shit, play at a speed walk pace, throw lazy ass passes and don’t box out. Today was one of those games.

  15. metalhead252

Not much good to say about this game besides Jokic being efficient (on way too few fga with how the rest of the team shot) and also that we seemingly avoided like 2 or 3 injury scares

  16. ImGonnaChubbBradley

This was a masterpiece in dogshit

  17. Atluuuus

Bro we do not know how to play against this team. Haven’t they beat us every time this year?

  18. snakejakemonkey

Reminder that Cancar would’ve been our most useful depth front court piece this year.

Still need to fill that hole.

  19. idlta210

The Nugz have a really bad bench this year. It’s really concerning.

  20. Donnie1490

On the low, Murray was ABUSED on defense tonight particularly by Shai. I made my thoughts on jokic tonight, 10 shots not it. Holding the ball or backing down just dribbling for what? Idk.. cause they prevent you from cutting to the rim. OKC crash and surround as he go in. Pick your spots and score. If Jokic had 30+ going into the 4th like he could have easily did, the game would have been closer

  21. SPRTMVRNN

Had other plans and couldn’t watch. What is the non doomer summary of what happened?

  22. undefined404

So Jokic’s touch is back at the cost of FTs? I’ll take it tho

  23. boydivision30

Not too worried just one of those nights that the shots are not falling. Mal is better on defense most nights. On to the next.

  24. Meatwad-is-better

The bench needs something it is just not good enough

  25. matador_d

Just one of those games. Couldnt make a 3. Felt like OKC hit every contested shot. Refs sucked. Bad game from Jamal and MPJ. Oh well, on to the next one.

  26. Kitchen-Ad-5571

imagine playing a while game as a interior player and not getting a single free throw. the league is shit in allowing jokic to get hacked all game.

  27. mrbaseball1999

Jokic was seeing a lot of double teams while nobody was cutting to the basket or making 3s. The first part there is where we miss AG. The missed 3s, well, I guess maybe chalk it up to fatigue or just an off night. And as much as I love the improvement PWat has made so far this season, he really shouldn’t be a stand-at-the-perimeter-catch-and-shoot guy. Him taking 16 threes in his 2 games as a starter just seems a bit much.

That said, I’m not too worked up about this dud of a game. We weren’t a full strength in a b2b. We’ll be fine.

  28. Jokic seemed to mentally shut down at the end of the first half when he started turning the ball over. Refs as usual, shitty. The guys miss AG. His passing, finishing and defensive rotations with KCP is what won them the championship. Watson has potential but makes too many mistakes and can be a bit disruptive of the flow of the nuggets game. He took out Reggie by being so reckless out there. Murray also had a bad shooting night. I miss when he used to hit pull up logo 3s in the 2-man game.

  29. 877GoalNow

I guess we root for the Clippers tonight.

  30. xyzscorpion

Not worried at all, sometimes you just can’t make shots. It happens

I am a little scared of the CB regression though. His defense isn’t nearly as good and his three ball still isn’t falling. I don’t think it’s time to bench him completely yet but I would think he’s running out of time to re-prove himself

  31. introspectiveG

Just when it looks like Goga Bitadze is out of the rotation he starts and plays amazing again. He’s so good he might actually replace Wendell Carter at this point.

Oh well Booth I guess Nick Richards it is

  32. finn_odalih

The amount of Nuggets fans completely ignoring context to this loss is staggering.

Also I love how everyone’s like, 🤓 “well okc played 3 games in 4 nights”, like the 4 more games Denver’s played this season doesn’t take a toll on their bodies. bffr

  33. sacredknight327

Nuggets fans scared of the Thunder now on Twitter are annoying. Reigning champs, have some goddamn faith and backbone. Thunder are toast if they’re encountered in the playoffs. Enjoy that 2-1 regular season lead.
