4 Sneaky HOME RUN Signings From The 2023 NBA Offseason…
This past NBA off season was one dominated by the bigname stars that shook the league up by way of trade requests holdouts and free agency signings and while that’s what’s to be expected in a league dominated by headlines and star power it’s time to shift our Focus to the other end of the
Spectrum in today’s video today we’re going to be taking a look back at some of the sneakier signings made this Summer that are proving to be well worth their value and what I mean by this is that I’m going to be going through through the four free agency signings
Made that I believe are proving to be exceeding the value that they signed for monetarily giving their teams an absolute steal of assigning because in hindsight these players were probably worth a lot more before we start though it turns out a good amount of you watching right now aren’t even
Subscribed to the channel so if you enjoy the content consider hitting the Subscribe Button as not only does it help out a ton but it also very much appreciate it now with that being said let’s begin the first sneaky free agent signing we’ll be discussing today is
Kobe white who resigned with the Chicago Bulls on a three-year deal worth $36 million total of course this is a video All About hindsight but Kobe white is easily the biggest value signing from the entire summer and I don’t think it’s particularly close on the year as a
Whole white is averaging about 18 points and five assists per game shooting the ball 40% from three however since Zack LaVine went down with an injury white has been playing like a borderline Allstar averaging about 23 points six rebounds and six assists per game shooting the ball even better from both
The field and from three in that span and at a time where the Bull’s future seems to be very much up in the air white is proving to them he should be a part of their long-term plans as he’s still just 23 years old he’s playing with more confidence than ever he’s
Looking to get to his spots and pull the trigger without hesitation from Deep shooting ranges that keep defenses on their toes he’s a quick and Shifty guard that has nice touch around the basket when he gets into the paint and his ability to stop on a dime and pull up
For a jumper makes him a legitimately tough scorer to stop so how exactly did he slip through the cracks signing a deal for just $12 million per year well it’s because prior to this season his last two years were trending in the wrong direction a lot of the Bulls focus
On offense ran through their quote unquote big three of Zack LaVine Demar D rozan and Nicola vuvi so white struggled to really find his role on a consistent basis those years and his scoring numbers were dipping as a result of it that era of Bulls basketball never
Really resulted in much though so he’s now getting another shot to be more prominent figure in their lineup and he’s taking that opportunity and running with it the next sneaky free agency signing proving to be well worth the contract he signed this summer is Kelly Uber of the Philadelphia 7 6ers signing
A one-year minimum contract worth just $3 million Kelly UB has always had a lot of talent the criticism that came his way often times had to do with the decision- making out on the court and the narrative that has been heavily pushed about him is that he’s not a
Winning player and can’t do the things needed to impact a winning team when he played one season in Golden State a few years ago his shooting woes combined with his questionable shot selection and decision-making made fans grow tired of him quickly he then spent the last two seasons in Charlotte where he did
Admittedly put up good numbers averaging 20 points per game last season but he was not very efficient at all as a scorer and on a Hornets team that lacked much structure his production was viewed as empty for these reasons he sat around for most of this summer waiting to
Receive any kind of real offers and didn’t sign with the 76ers until the middle of September on what was basically a pro it deal he came in knowing that he would have to to dial back his play style in order to fit into what the Sixers needed from him and when
He’s been on the court this year he’s actually looked like a completely different player proving to be a sensational signing for a team that desperately needed another source of offense ubber is averaging about 13 points per game but what’s most important for the role that he’s in is
That he’s been shooting a career best from both the field and from three this season and he’s been a genuine Plus on the defensive end so he’s managed to turn two of his biggest negatives into reliable positives the Sixers are also 1.2 points better per 100 possessions
With him on the court and that’s an even more promising sign because historically that has not been the case with his prior teams so for a minimum contract UB is earning a much bigger payday next summer the next sneaky free agency signing proving to be well worth the
Money he signed for is Austin Reeves of the Los Angeles Lakers who signed a 4-year contract worth wor about $54 million total Austin Reeves started to really break out during the Lakers run to the Conference Finals last season and with all of the momentum he was carrying
Into the summer him resigning for this amount genuinely surprised me it honestly feels like cheating including him on this list because I could have told you from the second that he signed the contract that he would make that contract look like an absolute steal and so far he’s definitely done that
Admittedly many in the NBA world were expecting even more out of Reaves this year with some going as far as saying that he could have been a legitimate star in the making but even though he hasn’t quite reached those Heights yet he has still solidified himself as one
Of the best sixth men in the NBA and the Lakers are at their best with him on the court he’s averaging about 15 points five rebounds and five assists per game his non-stop motor ignites the Lakers second unit and he tends to close games because he’s trusted to create offense
As a lead ball handler and speaking of sneakiness he’s a very very sneakily crafty Creator off the dribble you honestly could have doubled his contract and it would have still felt like fair value for him especially when you take a look at the contracts that guys like cam
Johnson yaka Purtle and Dylan Brooks got this off season which exceeds Reeves contract when you can make an argument that Reeves is just as good or better than those players and finally the last sneaky signing from the summer we’ll be discussing today is Dario sarich of the Golden State Warriors who also signed
For a minimum contract for one year worth about $3 million sarich originally started to emerge on the 76ers when they first transitioned out of the process era because he was a highly skilled forward who excelled in so many different parts of the game and he served as a perfect glue guy to their
Lineup when he was included in the trade that sent Jimmy Butler to Philadelphia though his career started to hit a lot more bumps in the road he never really settled into the Timberwolves Suns or even the Thunder who he briefly played for last year and he also suffered an
ACL tear that kept him out of the entire 2021 season so for a while it looked like his time as an impactful role player was over but Golden State gave him a chance this season and he’s looked Sensational with them so far off the bench he’s averaging about 11 points and
Six rebounds per game for them he’s providing excellent spacing to their second unit knocking down about 39% of his threes he’s a willing and abled passer as a forward which has made his transition into the Warriors offense feel so seamless and the Warriors are a whopping 7.8 points per 100 possessions
Better when shich is on the court versus when he’s on the bench demonstrating how cohesive the lineups he features in are there hasn’t been much to speak positively of in Golden State this season with their struggles as a team as a whole but charch’s reemergence is definitely one of them and with that

Reggie jackson for denver is really good deal too. Dillon Brooks in Rockets is also a good sign since they made the rockets defense good
First
I understand he wanted to stay in La but Austin Reaves agent letting him sign for only 50 million when I’m sure a team like San Antonio woulda offered him double the money and more of a opportunity to shine is crazy to me
No Lonnie Walker?
L. Walker nets
No DJJ or Exum?
Reaves sucks and he is overrated tbh
one teams garbage player is another's star sometimes the team fit is wrong and it takes a change of scenery to fully realize a players potential
Naz, DJJ
Beasley doing better than dame atm so is Allen 😅
It’s always guys that come out that blue to become solid role players or stars Cody definitely one Austin reeves I feel would have average 20+ if he was on the spurs
Even in what has been considered a disappointment of a season the Austin Reaves contract has still been a steal
I thought Austin was supposed to be doing bad this year
SUPER DARIO
NAZ REID.
Derrick jones jr hands down
reeves resigning with the lakers isnt a steal at all. people forget that la set the market for reeves and that fact set the limit of his max cotract. which the lakers could match. reeves would have been dumb as hell going to any other team while able to play with lebron. reeves is part of the future nba. better to learn when able instead of missing that opportunity. players that say they wouldnt play with lebron are liars
PUT SOME RESPECT ON MY BOY COBY WHITE 🔥💪
Coby only got 36 mil total for 3 years? Thats crazy could of deff got more
Reaves had a slow start in the season due to fatigue from playing in the FIBA tournament and made casuals question if he was a "fraud", but now he's back to normal playing like the AR we know and he's in the frontrunning for 6MOTY. Reaves is solid
Coby white contract was a masterclass
Not having either DJJ or Exum on here is criminal. Both are minimum signings and have risen to be starters and performing the best in their careers. Absolute revival.
Subbbed… again.. i thought i was? weird
What about the Westbrook contract
Its nice to see Jessie Smoulett…. I mean Kelly Oubre Jr back for the 76sers….
Malik Beasley is on a fantastic deal
