Lets make something clear guys, no way in hell Lakers are trading Austin Reaves and Rui
Nets wanted Austin Reaves and Rui for Kyrie and Lakers didn’t do it, so what makes you guys think they’ll do it for Zach Lavine/Pascal Siakam/Dejounte Murray??

Seemed more like Nets were asking for everything, knowing they weren’t going to send Kyrie to the Lakers in any case. I can’t see Lakers trading Austin unless that return is just that good but D’Lo/Gabe/Rui are our main trade pieces from a salary-perspective.

The only argument for Rui is that there is an absolute logjam at the big wing position, and trading him for a piece/pieces that round out our roster could definitely be justified.

AR probably not likely. We could’ve been starting him to have his trade value even higher. I’d trade him for someone on Kyrie level. Guys like Trae/Lauri are out of our price range no matter what. So there’s very few trades where losing AR makes sense

Reaves stays regardless cuz he is the longest tenure Laker outside Bron and AD. U cant gain chemistry by flipping guys every season.

Rui contract alone makes him the most likely to be traded out of all the PFs.
I’d imagine AR is off the table unless an All Star caliber PG or C become available that fits perfectly alongside AD and Bron.
I don’t see a PG of that magnitude being available but I wonder if the Cavs would be interested in AR plus either DLO or RUI, FRP for Allen and Rubio (filler).
It’s a win now move for the Lakers but we would have the best defensive in the league and would match up very well against the Nuggets.
