A good dude, never really took the leap to lead the team like we had hoped and dealt with a lot of injuries but developed his defensive skills, got the chip, and got the bag. Championship year was quite difficult for him mentally after losing his father before the season tipped off then dealing with injuries. I remember seeing him on top the parade bus with no emotion while the others celebrated but then again he is like that most of the time lol.
Was part of that special era where developed a lot of rookie in-house talent into great players (Norm, Delon, FVV, Jak, & Pascal) before the drought (until we got Scottie).
Loved the hustle/toughness and never back down attitude. Great with the fans and teammates, produced a lot of fun off-court content (will miss him & Serge). He is on my Top 25 Raptor list.
