Been watching Jalen since high school. As a top ranked player I didn’t see him being a hawk but here we are. I need 2 more of his jerseys

I need more actions with Jalen and Trae. I also think you can tell he works better with much better with OO than Clint bc onyeka doesn’t clog the paint as much and it allows jalen to switch more on defense bc onyeka can guard the perimeter. Those 2 together at the 4&5 are gonna be great.
I like the Trae-DJM-Jalen trio. It can work, but the defense around them must be borderline elite.

Glad we won but giving up 126 to the wizards is less than great. Also would like to see Jalen get more touches in the second half, only took 3 shots or so
Trae Young, Dejounte, and Jalen all shot 50% from 3 and above 50% from the field. We also out scored them in the paint. Defense needs work, we almost gave them a comeback. And Trae can work on turnovers. The rebounds this game were absolutely exquisite. It’s the Wizards, and it shouldn’t have been close, but we’ve been needing this win for a while. Go Hawks!
There’s a real argument to be made that this team just needs great defensive pieces around Trae, Jalen, and DJ.
