I know there’s been a lot of contention about this season so far, but can we all take a second and appreciate the leap Dayron is making? We went from having zero depth at the 5 spot to having one of the best 1-2 Punch Center rotations in the league. His passing game has also been so nice too. Love ya DayDay, can’t wait to see how far you go.
Day’Ron Sharpe has been a bright spot for the Nets this year…
His much improved defense has allowed him to stay on the court where he‘s a beast offensive rebounder (99th percentile!) & efficient roll man (99th percentile!). Active, physical, good hands, mean, quality player. pic.twitter.com/HcxjypIb11

I thought Sharpe was not even an NBA player 3 months ago so fair play. And beyond that if he just gets better at finishing around the rim he is the more effective player out of him and Clax.
still remember last season when i was called crazy for believing a 21 year old sophomore in the NBA would never improve or amount to anything
Hand on heart thought he would be a perennial 11th-12th man. Looking like a very solid big man option, watching someone actually get rebounds on the Nets is a breath of fresh air after watching the teams the last decade.
To put it short, rent is due for him.
As long as the rim protection and defense keeps up, he’s a great mold for a modern center. Just a perfect plug and play big man.
And he’s moderately athletic and pretty coordinated around the rim. He looked awesome as a rookie as Harden’s role man. I wonder what his ceiling would be with a playmaker like that again.
Young players need time to develop. Unfortunately this front office and the fanbase only views them as trade chips
