Same as the time of the trade, Bye Felicia.

Not a fan of the return at all, but that doesn’t mean the things we going back can’t really help the team.

Even this doesn’t account for the value of bottoming out. We would have lost the Jalen pick if we were halfway decent that year. This also doesn’t include that some of those assets allowed us to grab Sengun and Whitmore. I loved Harden, and am still grateful for his time with the Rockets, but it was a good move and good return considering the situation.

Only problem w the Rockets trades is the Westbrook one. We did not get value from him. Probably could have got 2 more years out of Paul and Harden together and been in the same situation with picks.

Or more out of Paul if we just waited for OKC to budge.

Nets had a hot start but are regressing to the mean big time over their last 13 games or so

When it happened I thought it was a mistake. The last 3 years completely changed my mind. Harden has become a toxic teammate and I’m glad he’s not on the Rockets. Tari is great, hopefully we get at least 1 more decent player through the draft with the Nets picks.

  7. Tari’s a great start. The back end is what really matters though. This trade looks better when graded against the alternative which was keeping Harden. In the end he’s not as valuable as our prime Harden sadly.
