Starter with the New York Knicks we did all that we gassed him up but frankly he looks even better than advertised looking at this man play I am absolutely elated as a Toronto Raptors fan and before people start firing off in the comments section no the even deal all

That type of stuff I don’t care Emanuel quickly it is absolutely ridiculous the Toronto Raptors were able to acquire this man I know OG’s amazing I know he’s a fan favorite I still got his jersey up there in the corner the the far left one over there but frankly this is

Ridiculous I am just absolutely my brain is on another level here now at this point because again the Toronto Raptors just faced off against the Memphis Grizzlies it was a blowout pretty well the entire way the Grizzlies made a little bit of a push at the end of this

Game and frankly the Grizzlies played really well and some people are going to say Ben why are you overreacting the Grizzlies are bottom of the Western Conference well you know what John Morant was suspended for the start of this year they’ve been 5-2 with John Mor

Back in the lineup this is a team that was consistently at the upper echelon the top three seeds in the Western Conference the past couple Seasons this is a massive win and the gries were kind of playing well they had zy zier Williamson come off the bench hitting

Ridiculous threes you know John Desmond Bane all those guys played well but the Toronto Raptors handled their business start to finish it wasn’t just the Grizzlies falling apart or things along those lines the Toronto Raptors just came out and outplayed The Grizzlies didn’t matter what was going on because

The start of this game Scotty Pascal you know did their thing we know what Scotty and Pascal can do and I’m going to talk about Pascal a lot in this video as well but just overall their stats in this one I mean Pascal seakan 24 points seven rebounds no assists in this one

Surprisingly but now two point guards his sort of a role has changed there a little bit less of the offense has to be run through Pascal which I still like him being able to facilitate could have had some moments where he could have uh you know he took some weird fadeaway

Shots at points in this game but had some optimal matchup so it kind of makes sense but overall P Scout played really well in this one obviously Scotty Barnes as well 20 points eight assists two rebounds you know our top two guys are our top two guys here now at this point

Scotty barns pass uh Scotty barns Pascal cakam they did their thing however the third quarter especially is where we saw Emanuel quickly cuz the the Grizzlies made their runs man the the Grizzlies did not play a bad game they are a good team that has been winning games they

Made their one runs they made their punches but quickly man this dude is hitting some ridiculous shots and maybe it’s because my brain has been you know it’s been a few couple years since we’ve seen those uh Kyle Lowry esque momentum swinging shots that aren’t just hucking

Up at a high volume a high percentage I mean quickly in this one 26 points five assists three rebounds five of eight from the three-point line made some nice drives it’s getting to the free throw line as well this man is doing everything out there on the offensive

End for the Toronto Raptors yaka purle has been unlocked because now quickly is out there facilitating looking for him in those High picking roll sort of drives RJ Barrett’s making those kind of pocket passes to purle whoever’s driving there we know Scotty’s able to execute sort of in those Lanes I mean this

Acquisition of Barrett and particularly emanu quickley it has been dumb and I don’t want to stay ve away from Emanuel quickley too quickly get some puns going but you know we we expected him to come in and be an elite scorer the three-point shooting has been outstanding you know the mid-range jump

Shooting all that type of stuff he has a nice floater game you know he’s confident with he’s able to sort of get rolling into his game but frankly and it’s it’s something I was a little bit worried about I asked Chris about it you know from Nick’s die just and it’s

Because quickly is a little bit of a smaller guard you know he’s not he’s not looking like Desmond Bane out there at the guard position looking yolked or anything like that but how is he on the defensive end and night only uh what three rebounds only three rebounds for

Quickly but frankly he does not he is not a defensive liability out there there were moments where he was underneath the rim and he made some actual Rim protection plays you know hands up Roy hies you know just getting some tips getting some pokes of the

Loose balls I mean this dude is solid he moves his feet he has quick feet he’s able to sort of you he has sneaky strength he doesn’t get bullied by any means like guards like Marcus Smart Desmond Bane they weren’t able able to push him around at all yes obviously

Desmond Bane and John morand are going to get their points they had solid games in this one right 22 and 28 respectively for Bane and morand but you know I thought quickley did a really good job he wasn’t exposed and what he’s providing out there on the offensive end

And still being a solid Defender this is mind blown me just seeing a point guard like this that compliments Scotty Barn so well because again Scotty had eight assist in one quickly can come off of pin downs and just hit shots I mean Fred Van vet is a

Guy that I thought could do this he did this during those Championship runs when he’s the two playing with Kyle Lowry but his last season last season and a half with us really focused on the on the- ball shots taking tough contested threes quickly right now again he can take

Those drives those floaters those off the- dribble stuff we saw Fred do for the past year and a half but he’s picking a spots seemingly a lot better than Fred Van B kind of did with the Toronto Raptors and he’s moving off the ball and frankly as someone that plays

The point guard position you know whatever level basketball I play at right now but I’m horrible for moving off the ball because I like the ball in my hands being a guard trying to facilitate and stuff so I kind of personably know how difficult it is to

Be the point guard on the team and sort of do those Steph Curry SG gravity sort of cutting all around the basketball court and quickly man he is fast moving around screens he’s a guy that can again take those dribble pulls but he can also

Make some high IQ cuts and then you know pop out and hit some gorgeous sort of footwork you know you need if you’re coming off a screen you need to be able to sort of set your feet and take that quick release shot and he he’s really

Got that fast release that looks calm that looks collected and that is going to unlock the Trona Raptor offense because we know what Pascal can do as a facilitat we know what Scotty Barnes can do as a facilitator I mean holy smokes this is this deal is looking better and

Better by the day I mean again this is a really difficult Memphis Grizzlies team to face up against and the Toronto Raptors handled their business they got a big W in this one and again late in this game grizzli went on a little bit of run you got to expect that from a

Good team in Memphis but the Raptors were able to handle it they never got it to you know where it was it was uncomfortably close but not to where there was actually a risk of losing right a couple more possessions un certainly but the Raptors whenever the Grizzlies got close they counter punched

They hit some shots the three-point shooting has been awesome for the Toronto Raptors right now it is just another level watching this team in terms of fun 46% in the three-point line again quickly was a big part of that tonight you know Scotty hit a couple Off

The Bench shuder and Trent hit one but I mean give a shout out to Messi Jerry man give a shout out to this man you know we were going through Raptor therapy right there for a solid uh solid year and a half and now things are looking good

Things are looking exciting I am feeling just pumped to be a Toronto Raptors fan again so shout out to quickley and RJ Barrett I think does need some credit as well because darkar yovic has been putting him in weird spots weird rotations been going on again RJ seems

To be getting comfortable with the offense picking his spots at times but 14 points seven rebounds three assists all the folks that were saying RJ Barrett’s a liability on defense you guys are nuts I’m watching this guy play he has strength for that guard position

He’s quick enough to sort of get to his spots going up against Bane and jaw I mean he’s did a really solid job at just you know moving his feet forcing defense into like external help the Raptors kind of have that one pass away Gap defense

So RJ’s just able to sort of execute you know slide people into those spots I mean I’m really impressed with what I’ve seen from him on defense he attacks the rim like crazy and his touch seemed a little bit off tonight but I loved what

I saw from RJ he had a very timely three there as well I mean this is a steal this is a steal for the Tron Raptors it’s not to say that the you know Nick scuff fin Ness it’s even though I made a video title and stuff but an OG and

Anobi is very valuable but frankly getting two guys at the caliber these two players are plus that second round pick I am just elated for what MSI Jerry did and you know we’re glossing over Scotty we’re glossing over Pascal because we talked about them all year

But they were great Pascal cakam 9 of4 from the field you know had a couple moments again where he uh he was cooking so I don’t mind him taking some heat check shots down the stretch we will have to figure out our offense sort of in the fourth quarter when we have leads

The Toronto Raptors have been uh traditionally used to making those fake comebacks those demoralizing sort of uh you know or the the the hype us up in the fourth quarter and then uh demoralizing finishes because we can’t close the deal the Raptors have usually been on that side of things over the

Course of the season so they need to get actually used to playing with the lead so I don’t blame them for letting other teams go on little runs at the end but they’ve done a good job at sort of silencing the crowd silencing Those runs Darko rakovich I think as well

Takes an extra possession or two too long to call a timeout like if another team is on a run I believe Darko should be calling those uh timeouts like a possession earlier he’s waiting you know Eric spola a team scores back-to-back buckets and it feels like the momentum’s

Picking up right timeout immediately and good coaches maybe aren’t as good as Eric spola but Darko instead of like two straight buckets he’s letting it be four straight buckets I mean if he could tighten that up a little bit I think that will help sort of the momentum

Swinging plays but he did do some solid timeouts it wasn’t uh I I forget which coach back was getting roasted for that about I think Joe Mula was you know last season during the playoffs so that’s one thing for Darko to look out for his rotations are also fairly interesting

Playing shuder a lot at the end of games I mean I don’t mind it I really like that Dynamic lineup of shudder and Emanuel quickly to to close off this game but really the the biggest thing for this Toronto Raptors team right now is going to be Gary Trent Jr he’s the

Biggest question mark because again Gary’s a guy that’s a averaged 17 18 points per game at times throughout his Toronto Raptor career most last season the season prior that were around his averages and right now Gary Trent Jr looks lost he kind of has fallen off a

Map right now at this point I mean two of Five Five Points you know it’s uh no assists he’s not really doing anything out there otherwise two turnovers Gary Trent Jr has a big problem when he sort of gets inside the lane and it seems like he’s trying to attack more which I

Respect because it’s a part of his game if he can get going it would be a huge plus to the Toronto Raptor Squad but he drives in and he’s just a little bit soft around the rim couple years last season we saw him have a nice little floater game he’s not really taking

Those here now at this point had nice little uh like dribble pull from the kill spot you know kill spot’s around that free throw line or you know the free throw line sort of uh parallel there in terms of his midi he’s not taking a lot of those now at this point

Either Gary needs to get back to what he was doing last season because if we get Gary Trent Jr providing what he was doing for the Toronto Raptors last season Off the Bench for us right now that is going to be massive and I mean

Right now our bench we had we saw some jonte Porter as well which was you gave some solid minutes he missed his three but I thought he moved his feet pretty well on the defensive end got some rebounds and didn’t force anything too much again he’s a solid three-point Sho

So we know those threes will go down so I thought he was solid Chris bue you know forc some uh plays at some point but again had eight rebounds in this one four points definitely a guy that should be getting more than 13 minutes I think

Uh you know Perle played well he’s been playing a lot better as of late eight rebounds in this one is a big for the Toronto Raptors Rim defense missed a couple of easy bunnies but again P’s out there for boards protecting the rim and doing all those things and he’s getting

Those touches so those bunnies will have to go down here now at some point but you know jonte Porter it’s interesting to see him get some run and Chris bue should be getting more than 13 minutes those are my critique sort of for Darko
