Apprciate coach obviously some unique circumstances just how proud of you of your group’s effort in in spite of all that I mean I can’t say enough about the group you know I mean from every person that was available played contributed fought battled um and they had to dig down deep

And and again you know that I’m so proud of the way in which they competed never let it get away from them um I told them they sh they should be proud of themselves for the way they competed uh but we always talk about doing it by committee so every single person that

Was available to play played and played hard and played for each other you know Superstar level players you know need to step up when adversity hits for Paulo to to play the way that he did hit the big shots that he did through throughout this contest just how much

Does it show in his growth level it’s who he is that’s what we I’ll say it over and over and over again he’s a winner he’s going to find ways to win he’s going to put his team in position to win uh and his teammates trust him

There uh he had multiple times he got to the basket uh down the stretch that he was attacking aggressively which I we love to see and he gave us a chance just to stay in this game and and try to go get the win you know um obviously how

How’s FR and Gary doing you know fron has the sprained right ankle he’ll be reevaluated when we get back to Denver uh Gary has the right calf strain and then you know Dell you know just that sore right knee you know how tough is it for to see it for frons especially with

The the way he’s been playing for you guys you know you don’t like to see it for anyone you know and you know we do have a lot of bumps and bruises on this team um we’ll get to Denver get a day of rest after you know a tough backto back

Uh the guys that competed tonight will get some rest and then we’ll watch film and be ready to take on Denver on on Friday you know you’re talking about doing it by committee and other opportunities for guys like chuma and Caleb to to step up the way they did

What does it say about about them and their continued Focus level well it it says so much about them it says so much about our medical staff it says so much about our coaches who do a tremendous job of making sure where you talk about guys staying ready uh for any moment not

Knowing when they’re going to come in you know treveling comes in plays a great game uh defensively as well as offens L making the right plays at the right time uh you know chuma who had not played in Major minutes he comes in does a great job Admiral steps in does a

Great job doing the little things out there on the court I just you can’t be more proud of a group of guys that not knowing when their numbers going to be called they were available and ready coach even talking about the three tonight you guys set a franchise record

With 253 can you just talk a little bit about how important it was to see those shots go down and the energy it gave for that team it’s huge I mean those were big moments and guys stepped up in those moments not afraid to take the shot not

Afraid to to step in when those guys when they passed the basketball they started double teaming Paulo a little bit later in the game he came off of it a few times and guys were willing and and wanting to make the right play so having the basketball going for these

Guys is very huge uh and not you know obviously it didn’t go our way with the w tonight but that moving forward uh that is a big sign for us to to to be able to step in and knock shots down as well anything else thanks thank you

Guys Pao your group was obviously dealing with some unique circumstances tonight you know just how proud of you of your team’s effort in spite of all those circumstances um yeah I say proud and understatement you know we’re just uh injuries is kind of kicking our ass

Right now and you know next man up mentality and you know those guys stepped in and um just did a tremendous job I mean they kept us in the game um you know I went out for a bit and then I was uh came back and chuma uh

TQ um Caleb you know those guys made huge shots the whole game made big plays on both sides of the ball and you know gave us a chance to win the game multiple times I mean we went the double over time so it sucks that you know we

Didn’t win um it hurts but you know I can’t say enough about what those guys did you know pal for you to put up a career high and in spite of all those circumstances just what was your mentality knowing that you guys were were down so

Many yeah I just wanted to do whatever I could you know um just be aggressive um yeah really just doing whatever I can whatever we can you know to get the win um you know we’ve taken some tough losses so you know we’re fighting right

Now but uh yeah how are you feeling uh you know after that one I’m sure after a lengthy back toback it would be tough anyway but but after rolling your ankle as well yeah I mean we’re we’re all tired uh we knew it was going to be

Tough just with the backto back getting in late uh but we played we played a hell of a game and um despite everything that happen with injuries and whatnot you know we get our ourselves a shot and that’s you know all we can ask for you

Know you you and France have been on a impressive stretch to to see him go down and you know have to to miss the action you know just how tough was that to see for him yeah it sucks um you know just he’s he’s a huge part of this team he’s

A leader of this team and um you know when you see him go down in pain um you know it sucks to see and you know like I said I just give credit to the guys for stepping in in his place and picking it up but um hopefully he gets better he

Can get back on the court soon you know we’re going to need him when tring came in it seemed like he just fit in the rotation to really help give this team a boost just talk a little bit about just how much this bench has just performed

And shown up for each other night in and night out uh yeah I mean coach coach just always is preaching next man up he’s been preaching that since the very start and uh you know TQ chuma those guys you know work their tail off every day after practice before practice you

Know they’re getting it in getting shots to playing one-onone um TQ was going down to the G League killing so um he was ready for his opportunity you know he stepped in and and that’s hard to do I don’t think people realize how how hard that is to do you know when you

Haven’t played with a group with a team really the whole year um and haven’t played any minutes really and then you just are asked to step in and start the second half and you know be a be a winning player and uh uh he just made

Huge plays the whole game so you know we’re probably going to need him again and uh yeah all around effort from you know you and your whole teammates uh compared to the last time you was here a year ago it’s been a big turnaround so when you

Guys playing a a double overtime like this what what do that says about the growth of this team you you got some young guys y’all went against you know a team that like to run up and down the court and y’all ran up and down the

Court with him but you outshot him and I don’t know how much that y’all touch the paint but what I meant by growth is the confidence you know that they out there what did that meant about the growth of this team yeah it shows a lot you know I

Think we said before the game last year we came here and I think we got beat by 30 40 you know um this is a a a hard crowd to play play against play in front of they’re allowed the whole game every play um you you know you feel them you

Hear them and then you know their team feeds off of that energy um and like you said their play style is hard to keep up with and um you know we we did very um very good job I think keeping up and then also just we got

Timely stops we made timely baskets um it kind of reminded me of the game we played last year against them at the start of the year my rookie year uh kind of a similar type of game where it went in double overtime and shoot we lost

That one too so um yeah it just shows how much we grew and you know we got to keep fighting obviously we would like to win but you know there is something to be said for the growth but uh hopefully we can pull out a win soon thanks Juma

Obviously uh you know a lot of interesting circumstances for your teams tonight injury short-handed um just how how proud are you of the way the group stepped up and was able to handle all that adversity um you know I’m real proud you know we F we fought hard like

You said we had uh people down so it’s just like a a next man up mentality you know we control what we control and that’s just going out there playing hard sharing the ball moving it and just having fun so we didn’t come away with

The win but you know we played how we wanted to play we did everything the game plan um told us to do and you know we almost had it you know you hit a number of big shots early in the fourth quarter to to you know help ignite the

Team coaches were encouraging you to shoot you know just how much confidence do you feel this team has behind you when you step into that kind of role um I feel like they got a lot of confidence just because you know um they see the

Work that I put in we all in gym together every day um I see the work that they put in so you know us believing in each other and uh us giving each other that confidence to just go out and you know do what we worked on do

What we practice every day uh you know and if it don’t work then you know try again again try again so keep on going you know when players go down and Paulo steps up the the way he does you know what what kind of growth have you seen

From him as a a young star in this league and where he potentially added um you know Paulo he he always going to make the right play and you know he just try to do his best for the team you know put us on the back and uh try to get try

To get the win um yeah that’s that’s about Juma you know your group hit a tremendous amount of Threes tonight most the franchise history you know to be part of something like that you know in spite of all the adversity just how big is that for your group

Um he most in franchise history I ain’t even know that that’s what’s up though especially being that I think the past these past couple games we ain’t really been hitting a lot of Threes recently so to to um franchise to hit a franchise record on the on the night when uh we

Got bodies down I feel like that’s major and shoot that’s that’s what kept us in the game too and that and us on the defensive end too so yeah that’s major
