damn I know jalen has had a shit year, but putting him below guys like bilal, dyson, and even amen who hasn’t really done anything just yet… is insanity. I fuck wit the sengun and jabari respect tho

keyonte george shoots 35% from the field and is a rookie, who is on a losing team, and he’s 12 vs jalen at 20, they seem to just hate jalen

  3. Equal_Ad8061

Sengun must be 1 and jalen 5 on this list

  4. HugeTravel9679

Sengun should be nr3 on that list in my opinion

  5. nonetimeaccount

It’s not a “best player” list, it’s a “who are you picking to build around” list

And by the end of the season Cam will be on it

  6. Anibunnymilli

Putting Dyson Daniel’s above Jalen Green is sad

  7. antipoopsuperstar

Wemby should definitely not be #1.

  8. ChiefKingSosa

In what universe is Jaden Ivey better than Jalen?

  9. kevtheproblem

Bleacher Report has been making awful lists for 15 years now. It’s their schtick

  10. They did Jalen dirty, he shouldn’t be that low.

What has Scoot done in the league lol. Even Amen has atleast been a decent role player on a playoff team. Scoot is tank commanding shooting sub 40% from the field

Amen has no business on that list.
And JG and Derek Lively should be top 10. Lively has saved the Mavs ass this year.

Yeah this is whack. Not even gonna mention other team’s players but having Amen 7 spots higher is ridiculous. Make him the starting 2 guard he’ll look worse than Jalen, and it wouldn’t even be the same situation then. I think people underestimate how hard it is to play shooting guard in the NBA- in my opinion it’s like QB in the NFL, hardest position to play. Jalen’s only job is to be the scoring engine of this team, every other team knows it too. When he gets the ball the defense knows what’s about to happen, his role is to beat guys. He’s not strong enough and he’s not experienced enough, and his confidence is clearly in the gutter, but nobody else on the team has to deal with that expectation. Part of it is on him for not being more of a playmaking threat to ease the pressure, but other positions by design are more complementary and so defenders have to make more decisions leading to errors or at least more reaction time. I am super worried about his development and will admit it’s not looking great, but there’s a reason that historically there aren’t many shooting guards who dominated the league day one. Idk if anyone disagrees I’d be interested to discuss. It’s not super intuitive imo because a point guard has many more responsibilities, which you would think makes it a tougher position, but I feel that it’s almost the single dimensionality of Jalen’s game (and the shooting guard position at large) that makes it really tough.

This doesn’t matter. Basketball fans are too obsessed with rankings. Get over it and just enjoy the games. We have a phenomenal young talent we get to watch.
