We are past taking on Projects. We need to win now. Like right now.

Trae Young is going to request a trade.

  2. GuamSavior

Don’t think he would get the opportunity to develop properly here since we have Jalen

  3. noobrektsucks

last thing we need is more non-shooters on our bench, don’t think he’d be a good fit unless we get him for nothing

  4. WeaknessOld1265

Hawks need long wing/PF that can take the ball to the hole and can defend. That clearly works well with Trae.

Send Bey and small assist for him.

  5. Eh. I could maybe see this. If our front office is really looking for value I would expect them to trade for a player that is already good at defense but can be developed into a shooter by Korver and the rest of the staff.

he’s horrible. Just imagine deandre hunter who cant shoot

His 3pt shot has been awful this year but it was 37% last year. I’m not as concerned about him and Jalen being on the floor at the same time as others with how good Jalen’s jumper has looked recently. Plus we need wing depth when Jalen is off. Could see something like Siakam/Bey/Schroeder to GSW, DJM/CP3 to Tor, and kuminga+Moody+Dick+draft pick(s)

Can he shoot or no? If yes. Than yes. Can he pass or no? What is Kuminga?

  9. Damn am I the only one who likes this. I mean ofc it depends on what we’re giving up but I’m definitely open to it. We desperately need more wings and a POA defender and Kuminga fits both. He’s not the best shooter but I think we’re fine on offense.

Edit: I’d rather have Moody if he’s available tho. He’s getting DNPs and “his camp is frustrated with GSW”

Athleticism merchant that can’t shoot or pass? No thanks

I would Love him. People are talking like he’s some project when he’s literally starting for the warriors and looking like their third best player at times. He would be amazing to have off the bench and we could mold him into being our long term small forward and a combo of him and Jalen long term would be awesome to see. The only reason I see that we wouldn’t trade for him is the lack of spacing but considering that he shot 37% last year and Jalen is currently shooting 40%, I think the spacing would be fine as long as we keep Bogi or Deandre on the team.

His frustration will just move from GSW to the Hawks honestly.

  13. I think y’all are not realizing how much we need more athleticism and length. We’re pretty shit In transition outside of JJ. Trae needs people who can run and jump for his outlet passes.

I see Warriors fans talking about getting Bogi or Capela for the Kumbucket they need to face reality cause they’re gonna be Suqqin Diq in the Bey area instead

  15. AUsedUpNapkin

Everyone saying we need shooting is ignoring the fact that we are literally dead last in defense and have a top 5 offense. Shooters can be had any time. There are tons of kevin heurters, Seth Currys, Bogdan, Joe Ingles, like there’s plenty we can go get for cheap at anytime

Who is this random Twitter account’s sources? I haven’t seen this mentioned anywhere else

  17. childishgames

I mean sure send over one of our mediocre role players why not.

  18. CoachLee_

So we would be running Jalen Johnson and Kuminga in the starting lineup? Feel like they the same comp

I don’t know man, Kuminga has been held back his entire career and has A LOT to prove in his mind. And something tells me him having to wait in another line to really shine won’t bode well for our team or our synergy.

i like the idea of adding kuminga, he’s 21 and can develop into a great 3 & D player, plus he has already shown the ability to learn i would say “difficult” or “advanced” sets on offense due to playing meaningful minutes during the season last year and a few during their post season run and not as much during the finals, already has championship experience and really just needs a chance to flourish and play his game. idk what the package would be BUT what i’m about to say may be outlandish and why i am not Atlanta Hawks GM Landry Fields

depending on the direction of the season (development), i would request:
Warriors send Kuminga, Moses(also intrigued with the idea of him, can be a good role player given minutes) and Draymond (cap purposes and BUYOUT, he signs wherever)
Hawks: Hunter(opens floor for Kuminga + AJG finally given chance to learn system), Bey, and Matthews plus draft compensation
