“There’s just a lot of chatter from people around the organization that he’s not the guy that’s gonna be able to get this thing over the hump… The noise is very loud, there’s a lot of people very frustrated…” – @JakeLFischer on Darvin Ham

he gone
If it really is loud and you have any kind of hopes for this season, you have to pull the plug ASAP. We’ve seen it countless times in sports, not just basketball, when a coach loses the locker room, they don’t get it back.
The fact he hasn’t been fired today tells you all you need to know about this FO tbh.
If we get our ass handed to us by the clippers, and he still doesn’t get fired, then it’s a wrap on any hopes he’ll be fired this season and you can basically write the year off.
He dont take accountability., please fire him asap
They are hoping he defeats the clippers & they can keep him.
Such incompetence
No one frustrated with pelinka?
Drafting Jhs over Jaime?
Signing Vincent over Schroeder?
I don’t see how the team turns it around after all these reports coming out, it must be awkward in the locker room and it’s obvious the vibes are terrible. At this point there’s no choice but to let him go.
They really gonna make Lakers players and fans suffer through the whole season with this clown…
Poor coached teams makes all the players looks bad.
I don’t see trades needed other than getting a coach that can put every player to his max potential.
Yeah we could use a big body defensive big, but other than that the way the team plays sucks
Ham coming in a all black suit in sunday
LeBron is pulling the levers. Ham will be gone by February
Who could’ve seen this coming from a rookie coach?!?!
He thinks the injuries of Gabe Nunn, D’lo and Rui can absolve him of his incompetence but the truth is he’s an assistant coach who is still learning how to run a fucking team and can’t utilize his players well. This would be tolerable for a rebuilding young team but we have LeBron James and Anthony fucking Davis in his prime what was Pelinka thinking!!!!
This is what happens when you pair a win now organisation with a rookie coach.
I was on the Ham bandwagon last season, not really paying attention to the reactionary types here, but seeing what he’s done this season has convinced me that you Ham haters were right all along.
Fire this clown
Only thing positive I’ll say about Ham is I dig the quarter zip he rocks and wish they sold that online lol
Rob was literally there at Crypto last night hearing the boos from the crowd. Time to make a change.
It drives me up a wall when he says “it’s a marathon.” As someone training for a marathon right now, I can say that it’s about gradual improvement, accountability, and long-term planning. I see none of that in his approach.
Bring on LeCoach
The fact this guy was hired, was a crime in itself. How do you listen to him speak and think… this is our guy?
Pelinka needs to go. Period. We need a real GM. Not a former agent, hated by over half the league.
This is so awful. All the blame goes on Jeanie and Rob. Hey, after scapegoating Vogel for Pelinka’s absurd roster construction (Ariza, Melo, DJ, Rondo, Westbrook, Ellington, Bradley, Augustin, Bazemore), let’s bring in a rookie coach who’ll have to learn how to be a head coach, all with the pressure of LeBron’s window closing and the spotlight of L.A. and the Lakers. Yes, I feel sorry for Darvin Ham. He’s not a good coach at least not yet, but it was stupid to put him or any new coach in this situation. Our Front Office is horrible. We miss you, Dr. Buss.
He gone
I let handy coach the rest of the season rather then give someone else a contract right now, stack the assistant coaching staff with better coordinators in offence and defence. Whether we succeed or crash and burn deal with it in the offseason. Also try to make a small trade or 2, get cam outta here or bench him, bench prince too. Move Lebron to the sf start rui at of if he’s going to be here.
I would love to get a POA pg, Dennis did so much for that, I wanted him back, get rid of that dude from Miami.
But we need to fire ham before the deadline to see the reaction from the team.
