I’m curious to see the breakdown of how this affects the cap space. It’s a little wonky since next year he was only guaranteed like $4mil and half this season is over. The tweet is also ambiguous on whether the $5.4mil he left on the table was for the total deal or prorated based on what was left after what he has paid so far this season.
However it gets distributed, that’s a pretty big chunk of what he was owed. Should be enough to get CPJ signed with some left over to throw a minimum deal at a post deadline buy out guy if we don’t make any other moves
